Even without him saying that our supplies are dwindling, when sleeping on a bed the quick chat options actually have one that says “My supplies, they’re dwindling” and I find it hilarious because it sounds like your pirate is having a nightmare

i remember one story from back when flameheart was spouting his nonsense above the event. me and my crew went to take on the fleet and we'd managed to get to the final wave after a lot of hardship, but the final wave was still a force to be reckoned with for us. we faced the burning blade and my mates got some good hits in while i was at the helm, but we were still getting shredded. flameheart, it turns out, was right, our supplies WERE dwindling. my crew had to go below to hastily keep us afloat and it was a stressful ordeal, i had to steer us to safety before i could help. but eventually through all the chaos i found an opportunity to strike back. i wasn't very good on cannons back then but i tried my luck and fired at the burning blade. The shot hit. and it turns out that was all we needed to secure our victory over old soot for brains. me and my crew revelled in our winnings and logged off with much thicker wallets

So this is what that tornado was. I thought someone was collecting the last veil stone over there. The Flameheart's head made the event more identifiable, and more funny.

Aye, they do look pretty similar. The Legend of the Veil tornado is wider and over water on the outskirts of the map while the Ghost Fleet tornado is thinner and over an island. It can still be hard to tell though sometimes when you are on the other side of the map!

I am still new at the game and when i had just 7 hours the other crew sinked me and i spawned again in the middle of this tornado, i was so shocked and i didn't know what to do haha

I once managed to complete the last two waves of the ghost fleet while a player galleon was trying to sink my sloop. After defeatkng the burning blade I had just enough time to take the captain's skull and the cursed cannonball crate! I sunk to another sloop soon after, but the thrill of event stuck in my memory!

It's a shame this event doesn't scale for different crew sizes. It can be pretty overwhelming for solo players. Also, they missed the opportunity to rebalance the Order of Souls voyage.

On April 13th, an update dropped that reduced the number of shots it took to destroy the captain ships and the Burning Blade. Do you know how many shots it now takes?
