I absolutely agree with what you said about brushstrokes vs. repetitive vertical lines. An abundance of foreground or mid ground grasses take me right out of the landscape, but a variety of brushstrokes and layers-I could walk forever in that bit of country. This is just wonderful. The painting looks like a morning where the night prior was coated in mist and the sun is halfway through burning off the morning fog. A lovely video and it's very interesting to see the techniques of dry-brushing and ghost washing within one work. =) Subscribed!

Es un inmenso placer verte pintar, haces màgia con la profundidad. Tengo que aprender (entre muchas otras cosas 😅) a ser paciente; veo que tu construyes tu pintura a base de capas cada vez más oscuras, pero muy despacio… yo, en los primeros lavados ya empiezo a impacientarme viendo solo manchones de pintura que no parecen nada y tengo que forzarme mucho para no empezar a poner detalles y arruinarlo todo! 😒 siempre había pintado con óleos, allí puedes sobreponer capas de los colores que se antojen y rectificar lo que quieras… hasta que conocí la acuarela, que es tan fascinante, que a veces (muy a menudo…) parece que tiene vida propia y ella toma las riendas… de hecho en algunas pinturas me limito a reseguir lo que ella ha hecho y queda genial! Muchas gracias por tu vídeo, un abrazo ❤
