It took me a while to appreciate his style and the effortless dense intricate complexity multi flows in his stories that after 100 spins you'll still catch something you missed. That factor probably led him to eventually become my favorite Rapper of all time. So grateful to have the massive catalog of consistently great Ghost albums available. That Sour Soul album brought him to another level imo, nobody has made their best album 19 years into their career and he's still poppin and healthy and got his mind right. Love how Ghost breaks it down about how people like me, who is 40, interprets the Wu-Tang slang! Kids these days don’t have the patience. I’m training some young gods at work these days and I’ll bump some Cardi B for them. I get it, I don’t hate ya know. I laugh cause that shit is funny or whatever. But I make them listen to the GZA, ODB, Rea and Gravediggaz! And they trip on the knowledge!!!! Wu-Tang is forever and will always be there! Especially for the children. I’m doin my part to pass it down and spread knowledge, love, peace and lyrics! Real life shit ya know! Before we had streaming music we looked inside a tape or cd and wanted to know who wrote and produced classic HIPHOP!!! ☝🏼👐🏼
