I went to college full time and took all of the television production courses I could. This is one show that got me interested in the industry. I went to work for an NBC affiliate and became a director. I then became a professional commercial producer and made hundreds of commercials. After all of that, I still want to make cheesy, grassroots, hometown TV like this. This is where it's at!

Watched this on KBHK Ch 44 San Francisco when I was about 10, I think. This cracked me up. Bob Wilkins, on KTVU Ch2 Oakland, was much more calm, and he hosted Creature Features. I don't think they were competition. Except for content. But Ch 2 would play unusual horror films, from time to time, while the Ghoul would play the bottom. Of. The Barrel.

That was a fun year. I was about the same age and I never saw a horror host tear up his puppets or blow things up with M80s like me and my friends did on the 4th of July before. I was seriously into monster movies so I liked Bob Wilkins better because he had guests on who talked about the films but The Ghoul was and still is my favorite clown.

I just concluded the Ghoul is the father of famed director PT Anderson. His name is Ernie Anderson. How's that?
@sheiladawg16645 жыл бұрын
How's that? It's wrong! GHOULARDI was the father, The Ghoul was his successor.

PLUNK YER MAGIC T W A N G her? Mr. Bill from Saturday Night Live , ripped off the Ghoul and Froggy. The idiot in Detroit who "invented" Mr. Bill, got the idea for creating Mr. Bill from watching Froggy on the Ghoul show in Detroit!

Svengooli is a chump. Throwing chickens? What is THAT all about? Where's the comedy in that ? His jokes are as lame as he is. Now if you want the king of late night horror flicks,Ghoulardi (Ernie Anderson) of the 60's was the man !!!
