I LOVE that Bella Rose fabric today! From watching you opening so many advent boxes, I have about decided to order Bella Rose next year, and discontinuing all the others for various reasons. Although they are all nice, I definitely believe the Bella Rose box is more aligned with my preferences and sense that BR's is the best value. Again, thanks for the nice videos.

I love the Wawaka clips. They are fantastic and way cheaper than at certain stores. And larger sizes. The fat quarter from Missouri star is beautiful. Bella rose won my heart.HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM. And he takes care of you because you two are a team.

Good morning to all, and happy Wednesday! I finished the last of my gift sewing yesterday, now comes the wrapping! I'm going to watch some videos later & see if I can do something a little fancy with that. Also yesterday Mr O & I took a walk & found the 2nd & 3rd place "best decorating" winners for our block, and I have to say I agree with the judges. They looked so beautiful. The third place house has decorated every year that we've lived here so ::counts on fingers:: 23 years now? and this is only the second time that I recall them getting a prize so I'm particularly happy that they won. What a great selection today! I'd be hard pressed to choose a favorite. Beautiful fabrics, useful notions, and an excellent pattern. Sewing clips in general and the Wonder Clip brand in particular are a real game changer if you normally only use pins. The silvery-grey fabrics for the table topper are exquisite, with such charming little holiday motifs on them. 5/5 across the board with the exception of Stitch Supply; that one gets 4/5 because I almost never use white thread. I do appreciate that it's a nice, large spool, and while I've never used Aurifil (sp?) it is my understanding that it's a high-quality product. Favorite things Day 18 - cookbooks! I don't necessarily count cooking or baking among my favorite things, but I enjoy looking through cookbooks & seeing all the different recipes, and trying the ones that look particularly tasty without being overly difficult. Vintage ones - or as my sister & I call them, scary cookbooks - are particularly fun because photography was not as advanced as it is today, and there's nothing quite like seeing a slightly off-color Jell-o "salad" with grated carrots, olives, and mayo & wondering if people ever actually ate that, LOL.

That headband would all be good for Valentines - OH! I just had another fantastic idea - what about a February advent! Somebody needs to make a monthly advent FOR ME! Well, I wouldn't care about an advent for June, August, September...I would like an advent for October for all 31 days! Why isn't someone doing this for me. I am a pinner. I sew a lot of clothes and stuffed animals But I always use my clips for quilt binding so as I hand sew the back down a pin doesn't prick or tear my hands.

Sweet! Now you have two of the Bellisimo charm packs cause you got one from Soft Squares early on. My fav clips these days are the skinny clips since I can use them to hold zippers in place better especially for rounded corners. With that container I'd have to put them in my class bag - I ALWAYS forget my clips when going to class. Bella Rose - I love the polka dot (Lella Boutique) fabric - I was so excited when Vanessa decided to do a line of all polka dots last year. Okay, the hats and mittens - I immediately thought of The Christmas Story and Ralphie! Ooohhh Holly! This pattern would be so cool done up in dandelion fabrics - was it Zen Chic or Robin Pickens that had dandelion fabrics?
