Personally, I favor Riot Armour. I had a very traumatic experience with a pack of Troodons when I was still fairly new to the game. It left a permanent scar on my psychy when playing, so now I can run around a little more confident that it won't happen again. Riot is my daily and I mainly set up shop in colder climates anyway, but I keep a set of ghillie on me as well. P.S. fantastic video:)

It's worth noting about the Tek pants that combined with the chest piece you can also fly extremely fast. It's great for moving around on Aberration.

The Tek Gauntlets are what allow you to fly fast, not the leggings.

For armours that have heat as a weakness, having an otter on your shoulders with high level melee points works well to nullify this weakness.

@@taylormay9938 you know how increasing your oxygen level increases your air capacity and your swimming speed, and how increasing your melee also increases the amount of resources you gather? An insulation an otter provides is tied to their melee stat, just like a dimetrodon. The higher the melee star, the more insulation they provide.

I started playing when the Shadowmanes was introduced, so, my favorite armor is Ghillie currently. I’ve also fallen into the Breeder rabbit hole; so that and Calien soup is all I have, besides ample taming supplies and my “don’t eat me stick” - aka my pump action. 😂

I didn't know desert cloth was inherently stronger than ghillie. I've always played the desert biomes with ghillie and been good but now I want to hunt up a good set of desert cloth.

I also put the miners helmet on my pets because it’s safe and if it’s dark and dark in your base the lights shine everywhere when the pets move their head lol

So, tek armor is obviously the best and what I use. But I hate that you shoot into the air when you simply try to jump and I never ever use the tek helmet. Holding E on dinos or something will activate it, and that's just way to annoying.
