Yeah, I'm not adjusting the volume every 30 sec lol. I don't understand why this is such a problem for so many channels these days. Is no one checking audio during the editing process? Obviously someone is playing with it, because this surely isn't original. Maybe it's a hack channel and they have to mess with the videos to get around copyright law? Just thinking out loud.

This is only one of several episodes of this series and this is the only one that has this problem. Therefore it doesn’t it’s a KZbin or copyright issue, it’s just something that happened with this particular cut of this particular episode. Since this was the final episode it I didn’t want to miss it so I just turned on the subtitles.

Great show. I enjoyed it... Just one thing, the voice volume is so low over the music that its hard to hear. Its strange because the volume is perfect everywhere else.. Just the few voice overs over graphics thats way too low. If you ever need an extra "sound guy" I would be more than happy to help :)

This seems to be a common audio issue with British TV and Movies. Watch any made using a British studio and you’ll experience bad audio.

According to me King Arthur was a real person who ruled England in the 5th century. He was a very prominent figure in British history and tried his level best to protect his nation from the Anglo Saxons. He also got the Sword of Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake but I am sure probably that sword got demolished during the rule of the Anglo Saxons.

This iS by far my favorite Absolute History production! Being 1/2 Scottish, I found it a wonderful journey of Scottish history. My Grandmother was a MacBeth & my Grandfather was s Hamilton. I'm very proud of my heritage & to be finally shown the beauty & history that isn't:tainted by war and destruction, but by it's natural beauty. The replanting of the historical foliage & trees is a monumental task to reclaim it:s former glory. Your tree huggers ROCK! beauty

That's because they don't own these and are just stealing other people's content to repost and take credit for it. They have to constantly alter the audio level to avoid copyright claims. This is a Channel 4 series. I don't understand why this channel has half a million subs since nothing they post is theirs. I mean they do a good job making it look like their own content.

I made it in two minutes. Note to producer, I like the shows subject. The audio sucks. Overall audio level hard to hear at full volume. Narration drowned out by irreverent "background" music. Commercials blast out much louder. I will observe next couple releases. Either figure it out or I will delete your channel. Simply annoying to try to hear. Elevator music and commercials.

Really wish the audio was more even in these videos. Trying to find a comfortable volume to relax and watch is difficult. If I lower the volume so the loud parts are good then I can’t hear the quiet bits... and when I turn it up so I can hear the quiet, well it makes the loud parts way to loud. I really like this show/series, however the dialog volume changes are really annoying and should have been resolved in post production. Having to frequently adjust the volume up or down to compensate had me ready to click off of this video.

For everyone complaining about the audio or opening format, remember that these were not made for KZbin. Everything on this channel were first aired on TV. They are getting released a few years later now on KZbin. Some of the audio issues are from this change in broadcast format. The opening makes more sense when you think of this as a weekly TV show rather than a regular KZbin video.

I get that, he pronounces Arthur and Offa very similarly. I have watched a few of his shows and the R is usually a soft R. So Arthur becomes Awthur

Arthur, Offa, Uther, all named after Hathor (Het Heru). Hera, wife of Zeus, Iraklion, Heraland (Ireland). A very well know and well loved aspect of The Goddess back in the day. She gives us the words her, hero, erotic amongst so many others. Maybe even heretic!

The audio problem only happens with BBC historical documentaries. So many KZbin uploaded series have it . I don't know why the issue hasn't been addressed. I've seen so many comment sections dominated by the topic on dozens of videos yet no uploaders seem to care. It's not KZbin's video compression.
