Yoooo dude, amazing performance! I still remember when I first discovered Pianeet's video of this and as blown away by the sheer complexity of it all. I didn't know you transcribe it xD
@ChrisLuan
@ChrisLuan 3 жыл бұрын
Haha, I saw a very potato quality transcription with some inaccuracies and engraving that I disagreed with. So I just transcribed it to my heart's content. Then realized I could make it more interesting by adding elements in the ending for more climactic rising (right before the coda) and adding another section that isn't found in Pianeet's arrangement (the Eb run with a modified transition) for examples.

Fantastic yet again, my jaw drops every time I listen. I like this angle, but more importantly, the lighting has evened out on the keyboard deck vs your Orange cover.

That was on my old piano with the old lamp that we placed on the left shoulder of the piano. I'm open to recommendations regarding piano lamps but I'm also moving away soon so it's not super urgent. Ideally though, I could have better lighting by Christmas holiday season.

Thank you for the surprise, this is amazing ! You learned this piece in three days ? You're so incredible ! Also, I love your interpretation of Owari no Sekai Kara, which is one of my favourite arrangements created by Animenz too. The ending is really divine. For the camera angle, this is good. I think that I prefer this one and the (A) against the (B) because we can see your left hand better. I would love to see your interpretation of other arrangements by Pianeet, especially the Gunbuster Fantasy (my personal favourite) and Aoi Tori, but I know that they're insanely hard too. Anyway, your arrangement of Orange was one of the greatest arrangements I have ever seen, that's why I'm looking forward to your next arrangement. I love your arrangement of Let It Go too. You bring so much experimentation in your pieces, which makes them unique. You're one of the most inspiring pianists to me !

This is where the story that I once practiced 8 hours in a day originated. Far from 40 hours. Owari no sekai Kara is also one of my favorite Animenz arrangements to this day. Ahhh, I need to do a better job of camera setup in the future for the grand piano. Lol, maybe one day I'll upload more Pianeet arrangements.

Oh, is the final Presto your movement your favorite in Sonata No. 3? I'm also a fan of the first movement, although I've never played any Chopin Sonatas actually. Thanks for the recommendation. Yundi Li is incredible --- I was a huge fan of his Liszt Piano Sonata in B minor back when I studied it.

Pianeet’s arrangements are full talented, shocked by his Gunbuster fantasy especially the coda part . It’s a great pity that he is not popular as marasy8 and animenze.

Pianeet is underrated. All of his arrangements are incredible. The technical ability and musical maturity for AKIBA POP is particularly high and a personal favorite. Being underrated just means you aren't playing the recent "KZbin" game

You are skilled as always. How can you play the scales of that key and the arpeggios so easily? Any tips or advice please? I'm currently learning chopin's revolutionary etude. Nice playing!
@ChrisLuan
@ChrisLuan 4 жыл бұрын
(1) Scales: find the optimal finger patterns (you have to experiment since it really is individual. Generally, try to conform to the piano keyboard --- as a general rule, the thumb usually doesn't like black keys, but sometimes you have to do it). (2) Arpeggios: it's in the wrist, elbow, and rest of your body. You have to move and build momentum for fast arpeggios. Also, finger patterns are important. (3) Practice a lot (I certainly did for this piece back in 2014 Dec. - May 2015).

Pianeet probably is the most impressive pianist in the anime community technique-wise, but his arrangements are also some of the most creative I ever heard. Not to mention his perfect knowledge of Alkan. I'm quite sad he doesn't upload more often because the potential is so strong. Very very impressive performance Chris: the technique and interpretation are impeccable for such a difficult piece (unless you're very familiar with playing Chopin I guess). The only pieces I managed to learn by Pianeet are his Elegy, and the first minute/page of Aoi Tori. But it's overall completely out of my league for now lol. Completely unrelated question: is your Kotobara arrangement going to be a part of your weekly uploads? Or is the arrangement still in progress?
@ChrisLuan

Am I tripping? I honestly thought I replied to you. @.@ Back then (5-6 years ago), I listened to a lot of the original inspiration behind Pianeet's arrangement --- seeing as how it also inspired Animenz's Owari no Sekai Kara. I actually didn't play very much Chopin aside from Polonaises. I never learned any etudes, scherzi, or sonatas while under classical instruction. Ahh Aoi Tori was another legendary song with a very chilling intro. Good luck lol The thing with arrangements is that they're usually not "finished" until I upload. Even then, I come up with versions even after upload (like Departures - the most recent version I performed at my concert in 2018 but is not uploaded). Kotobara will require more revision, perhaps some re-imagining too.

can you play grisaia no kajitsu - shuumatsu no fractal-instrumental version on piano? the cover you made on the other channel is really unaccurate on what actually plays in the game,a more accurate one would be really really better.

For the miniature size OP? It was almost a 1:1 transcription 95% of the arrangement. If you link me a video, I can take a listen to a version that's representative of what you believe is accurate.

@@ChrisLuan oh man i forgot i even made this comment a month ago well the thing is,the one i'm listening to is the instrumental version. the one you made is the normal opening version with lyrics,but i thought that video was meant to be the instrumental/game' menu version of the music which is why i made this comment the "game size" thing in the title probably led me to thinking it's the one that plays in the menu or something well..basically the one you made is accurate enough for the opening,the time i made this comment was just me mixing the songs,sorry 😔
