Hyatt clocked the fastest time in pads in the history of the NFL. Oshane Jimenez or whatever tf his name was has finally figured it out. Or how about this one here: Erek Flowers has solidified himself as a starter at right tackle. Like I said... lol I can't do it anymore.

This is how I been feeling. I don't think fans have the perspective to realize how fucked last year was from the literal first drive. We have some dudes...I really want to see guys like JMS and Hyatt take leaps and be impact players. I know everyone has their feelings on Daniel Jones..while he won't be a top 8 guy, I still see upside with his tools and Daboll calling plays. Last year was disgusting to watch, it's one thing to have a weak spot on the line where you can manipulate the pressure...but we literally had guys coming in a different gap in 2.3 seconds. Let this line be top 20, our defense be 10, and Nabors is him...

I don't think that they are. If they are, it's only slightly. I hope I'm wrong. However, for the giants to be a "much" improved team, Daboll has to be a much improved head coach. Calling offense, I think, will help him. He gotta step his game up. We upgraded at G, slightly, and signed a lightning edge-rusher. Not much thunder, though. Nabs is the big upgrade. I want to see the Giants' offense get better as a whole and not just run more of the offense through a rookie. I want nabs to break all of our rookie records. And erase ob-gyn from my memory. "The best thing for Daniel Jones is to actually be good." BigDash If he balls, it will shut everybody up... including me! However, he gotta step his game up.

@@DevinSeverin You are right. The coaching - from the top down - has to improve. I'm optimistic on that front. I also think that they need to run the offseason differently so that they are more prepared for the start of the season. I agree that Nabers is a big upgrade on offense. And other teams focusing on him can open up some of our other playmakers. On defense, I believe that Burns will be a good upgrade. But definitely, intangibles, like better coaching, will be crucial. And there's always the "X" factor - they have to avoid injuries, and they need to have a deep roster when players go down. GO GIANTS!

The upgrades to the offensive line as far as personnel will improve our football team immeasurably. The dysfunction within the ranks of the coaching staff has been addressed. The addition of Nabers saw Schoen get the best talent on the board and address a need at the same time. John Michael Schmitz has a season under his belt as well as my son, Deonte Banks. I just love that kid's intensity and physicality at corner, his confidence, he's The Scatman and I love it! As you mentioned, adding Brian Burns to the front seven may be the most under-reported and overlooked addition of the offseason in the league. Regarding Sexy Dexy, I thought that with the hiring of Bowen as DC Dexy's skills as a pure NT would make him and the entire front seven better BUT Bowen's scheme that often resembles a pure 3-4 look utilizes what would be the Nose over the offensive guard like a 4-3 scheme. That's unusual, I'm not criticizing the concept but so was Buddy's "46." I'm not comparing our "D" to the '85 Bears, not close, BUT it will be interesting to see how this "D" is deployed. I agree, this team if it plays to its potential can be a playoff squad. We need that quarterback to stay healthy and perform to that contract!

Agree.. last season definitely broke my spirit a bit, as a fan. There was so much optimism from fans and reporters at training camp, a like. Saying they never seen DJ’s throws looking so good. Waller looking basically unstoppable, Hyatt looking electric, Wink’s defense year 2… and then the season start the way it did 💩🤦🏻‍♂️. I still remain cautiously optimistic heading into this season, because on paper, the roster has improved. Always a lot of “IFs”, most importantly key pieces staying healthy. Followed by recurring questions like, can the O line finally step up and at least be close to average? Can DJ perform at the level he did in ‘22? Can the secondary be decent enough not to sabotage the entire defense? If so, it could could be a fun season. Great video as always and Let’s go Big Blue! 💙

Meaning players have to sometimes coach each other on the field. Danny needs to spend time with receivers and tight ends. Defense the same. Giants CB depth is the one spot if I'm really iffy on. I love Banks. I like the addition of Herndon for depth and potential CB2 and I think McCloud is a solid CB as well but after that it's pretty weak imo

However while most will understandably focus on Jones, I’m going to keep my focus on if Daboll practices physically this summer and the OL, with Ezeudu playing OT, Elumenor playing LG and Runyon playing RG none of which makes sense. Daboll is an alleged genius, I want to see it work.

I too am always optimistic going into every season but once again the success of the season hinges on the offensive line. I'm probably in the minority but I'm one of those few fans who realize Daniel Jones was given shit and asked to make a Michelin worthy meal. Horrible coaching, Horrible blocking and no one of note talented enough to shoulder the load of the passing game the Robin to his Batman so to speak. To say "no more excuses" tells me that either you or others are oblivious to those obstacles OR expected him to walk on water and elevate subpar talent. I can't think of anyone in his position that would have done significantly better to warrant those expectations. 1:00 But all of that aside I'm with you on everything else. #gobigblue

No more excuses because the excuses were he never had a WR 1 and the oline. We've seen guys show the goods without these things. It's year 6 and I can only name one person who has been given a job or chances this much and his name Daniel Jones. Oblivious is the wrong word for me because I always talk about the oline being the most important but to see other QBs have a similar level of success with the same team leaves room for doubt. DJ gotta play better period, oline has to play better and we've learned that you can make the playoffs without a WR1.

I get the point of this video wholeheartedly but the QB doesn’t get blind faith from me anymore 💯 I did that last year but right now last year week 1 tickets were already bought waited 3-5months for football to lose 40-0 & season over by week 1 then oh 2 more quarters of goose egg football 🤬💯 I’m giants first then rooting just for a QB or putting my eggs into 1 basket like the giants did. So much I disagree with what this franchise has done since 2014 when they used a coach as an scapegoat. Patience has been wearing thin since 2019 & I’m sorry 1 good season doesn’t buy time when no SB win came at the end like 07 did. 1 good full season doesn’t label a franchise QB or should earn you a 100mil contract. I hope this building they’ve been doing is for the next QB! The actual QB they drafted. Using #8 as a bridge is the best bet not hoping or praying this guy finally figures it out it’s year 6-7 not year 2 on a rookie contract anymore 💯

Tyrod & a undrafted guy had more success than #8 did yet we were 3 mistakes away from being a playoff team, last year proved that getting a new QB is what we need but not replacing him for any QB. #8 is Randle for the giants & Randle is #8 for the Knicks when it’s good it’s great but when it’s not it’s super bad not the movie 💀🤣, they are too inconsistent for what they get paid for to do, if these guys were to build you an house you would not want them to build you your dream home because they aren’t the foundation of a winning culture because they’ve been part of so much losing you don’t look at them as successful maybe pay check wise. Well, our strengths might very well not be enough to get us enough wins to compete for the division crown. I think Dabes will coach his azz off this yr bcaus he doesn't want to be near the hot seat. However, we might have the worst QB in the division & one of the worst one's in the league. The OL will be improved but still remains a major question mark. We'll be better at WR room and maybe better at RB--Barkley was often hurt!! For us to be markedly improved, the OL line has to play much better, the DL has got to be way better..then we can go from there

The Giants particularly after Parcells tend to outperform low expectations but underperform high expectations. That’s been their story for probably over 20yrs now. NYG may outperform their 6.5 expected win total. That’s not completely impossible. But even if that were to happen and it’s still unlikely they won’t go far in the playoffs. And they will fall back to the pack the following year. This is not a solid team. Sorry guys it’s just not.
