Gorgeous guitar; thank you for demoing it. Interestingly, the scene you mention in Back To The Future is set in 1955, but Gibson did not introduce the ES-345 to the public till the spring of 1959. One of my all-time favourite British guitarists/songwriters, Bill Nelson, has used a 345 since the early 70's.

Even een nerdy fact finding... in deze video is te zien dat de stereokabel uit BB's gitaar split, net voor de versterker en in 2 kanalen is geplugd. Clean en drive? Het systeem lijkt hier te zijn ingezet om een bepaalde toon te krijgen en niet om het stereo effect. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWSpoYqqaJ6cnZYsi=sZFiepb4CAz8bPli&t=778 -> ik zou deze mooie ES-345 weer origineel in stereo willen hebben, zonde om dit unieke feature uit te schakelen.

BB King stond er bekend om zijn gitaar te splitten zodat zijn beide pickups allebei een eigen amp hebben. Waarschijnlijk deed hij iets soortgelijks in die video maar dan met clean en drive inderdaad. Bedankt voor je reactie!
