Through Jesus, the Living Water cleanses us, regenerates us, gives us a new nature, and empowers us. We can be at peace and have the assurance that we belong to God forever.

1.Thirsty John7:37On the last and greatest day of the Feast.Jesus stood and said "If anyone is thirsty,let him come to me and drink. 2.Believe John 7:38.Whoever believes in me.as the Scripture has said,streams of living water will flow from within 3.Holy Spirit John 7:39By this He meant the Holy Spirit, whom those believed in him,were later to receive.Upto that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified (died).

What if you grieved and quenched the Spirit by sin and being foolish. Is there any hope for me? Life is miserable for me. What can I do?

Thanks for your honest questions. In the crisis moment of our conversion as well as the process of our sanctification, we live in dependence upon Christ. We are learning to submit our desires to God, so we are no longer driven by our desires but learning step by step, with new habits to love what God loves and hate what He hates. When we are filled with the Spirit, we are submitting to God in the way of Jesus. But with all the emotions that surround our battle with sin and temptation, we need 1.) the Spirit to pour out His love into our hearts, we need 2.) the Word of God to renew our minds, and we need 3.) the church to encourage us as long as it's called today. At Moody Church Media, "church" is our middle name. We encourage you to connect with your local pastor for prayer, encouragement, and a support system in your walk with God. We can walk in the Spirit because Jesus did on our behalf. Like Pastor Lutzer says, "Being filled with the Spirit doesn’t mean we’ll be happy all the time. We can be anxious, troubled-like Jesus in Gethsemane...If Jesus had taken the easy way out, you and I would be trapped in our sins forever. There are times you have to say no to your emotions, submit to God’s plan…and simply trust Him for the glad day to come."
