Hey PxINKY! Happy to see everyone finding and enjoying Sideway's, aka @Giggletech_io's, stuff! (Hope you don't mind I piggy back off your pinned post!) I've been using the Puck for some time, and just got the Spark, as well as helping with many others in the discord. In my free time I've been working on some similar Prefabs that Sideways, but more so. I've got some Prefab "templates" for more than just the HeadPats, all depends on where they are going to be used. Basics are HeadPats, BellyRubs, and NoseBoops, though NoseBoops would be more so for face haptics (not giggletech, but a later purchase) The next tier, the advanced might pull some of everyone's attention, TailTouch and EarPlay. These are NOT single touch areas seen in the video. Let's say it has 10 bones, each bone can have it's own sphere/capsule area, again like the sphere seen in the video. Pending which bone area is touched (not grabbed, yet, haven't given up on that idea), will control the intensity of the Spark. I'm still working on the methods, learning a few things as I go, but let's take the tail for an example. The templates are still in beta, but, available to all on the same discord and channel seen above! And there's a public test avatar with all of these. Just remember to replace the Parameter_1 in the config, with the corresponding Parameter name you wish to use. There's more going on behind the scenes at Giggletech, there's a project Sideways has been running on and making progress! Side note, if you don't like VOR, check out VRCOSC, feature rich, has the same middle-man routing as VOR. I've been using it the last couple months with two other OSC things, making it three difference OSCs I'm juggling in one.

I was thinking something similar but not quite in the way you're thinking. In the back of my mind I'm questioning okay they can make this for headpaths so why isn't there anybody making another kind of device that works on the same principle for a different kind of tactile response on a more intimate location. There was literally supposed to be some companies developing devices of that nature for VR back before Quest was even a thing and nobody seems to be doing it yet

@@PxINKY I'm going to show my age here so bear with me. I'm 46 years old and I've been in the furry community since I was a teenager. So what I'm about to say next bear in mind I'm not up with the times as the young people say. I haven't seen anything as you would call not safe for work that connects to a quest to interact with VR. In fact I've seen almost nothing specifically geared to VR when it comes to not safe for work oddly enough. I know very early on there was some adult movies back when people were using the cardboard visor with their cell phone but I haven't seen anything more recent than that. I haven't seen anything specifically made for the quest whether it be Media or attachments of the Bluetooth variety haptic type stuff. They made a suit a while back that I was teasing about the name of it because it's very similar to a word in the furry community;) owo I forget the stupid name of the haptic suit but I was joking around about when are they going to make the pants to go with the vest. People were saying the vest simulated being hugged as an example. Call me weird but I'm glad I lived long enough to be able to play around with something like the quest. Back in the 90s there were a couple of VR options yes there was VR in the 90s but it was expensive expensive expensive as all my Jesus and you only had two or three programs that ran on it and it required special computer hardware and so on I remember there being a self-contained unit that was about $6,000 Canadian and I think had three programs available when it went out of production you had to special order it through Radio Shack or something like that and it was the only one I know of back in the 90s that you didn't have to have a separate computer to run it I think that one had gloves ironically thing basically looked like you were wearing a CRT television on your head lol. I can only imagine how comfortable it was on your neck after about 20 minutes. Have you ever seen the television series vr5 it was a thing back when I was young in the 90s ran on Fox for I think 7 episodes Budget on that show back then was a killer and today it would be considered campy Bee Movie Trash. Another one is Stephen King's Lawnmower Man. And there's one other movie I'm trying to remember the name of where it's a serial killer from a VR program who gets out of the program into the real world. Another series we had about VR back in the 90s was a show on Fox called Hirsch Realm that lasted I think Nine episodes because of the budget.

The part touching the head is a soft silicone! Super comfortable / squishy and great for parts like the head and stomach. alternatively they sell a cheaper strictly plastic one if you want to add it onto parts that aren't as sensitive as the head
