Update 104.1 is out now with new bug fixes and new creatures. They added the Giraffe and all of its life stages as well as removed the extra DRM with the Epic games store. Also, a new menu layout. Come join me and Chunk as we discover what is new with Animalia Survival.

The thing with the calls is that giraffes don’t produce a sound that we can hear, so I guess they used some deer sound or something lol

Giraffes do in fact make sounds we can hear lol, you can fond vids on youtube and listen yourself. They sound like lion cubs when loud, then they do this low trumpet hum that sounds a bit like a combination of a plane engine or a buffalo groaning, at night to communicate. Edit: just listened to the calls in the video, pretty certain they’re all real giraffe noises lol

honestly I commend them for trying to do a giraffe they move so awkwardly, the running honestly isn't too far off though the back legs do seem to lag behind them which might be why it looks more awkward than normal. either way I can't wait to see how they progress with the game.

Yeah it just got put in so give it some time a lot of other creatures started this way so over time I am sure it will be corrected.

Geeee, i miss playing animalia, my pc cant handle the graphics so i cant play, and a new pc is 50k in my cash, makes me sadddd😪😪 but glad yall enjoy it!!!

I have a feeling this game is a money farm honestly. It's been out for years, has barely seen any progress in that time, the models look like purchased assets and they've already got fairly expensive DLC, one of which I shit you not, is just extra skins that can't even be passed via breeding.

Well it has only been in early access for maybe a year but I do agree with the dlcs needing to be cheaper like I know they need to make money but selling dlc at a lower cost and getting higher volume would have been a better way.

The animations and models are bought assets within the Unity Store. They're made by a studio called Gim Studio and they have a list showing the companies they work with, this excludes High Brazil Studio (the producers of Animalia which coincedentally is the name of Gim Studios model project). So yeah, the game Animalia is just bough assets thrown together for a cash grab

Tbh I am not sure I would make sure your system is up to par specs wise and maybe try individual settings in the settings menu to see if it is one of them that might be causing issues. There was something in the patch notes recently about a specific setting that was causing issues maybe see if that might be what your issue is.

Literally came on my phone to comment this, it's a giraffe it's a tall awkward animal this calls and animation is as close as can get. Look at a fuckin giraffe run, attack and call in real life like Jesus Christ, they aren't vocal animals to begin with
