I think “Say say say”, was a better collaboration between them because it was up tempo and the Music video was fun. The Girl is mine, felt like Michael having to phone it in for Paul. The demo with just Michael was better to me.

I have this song on a 45 record! I loved it from the first time I heard it! Still love it! It’s just a fun song and I love the bickering back and forth between Michael and Paul! I thought it was wonderful between two great artists.❤

This song is super underrated, I love the relaxing feel of this song compared to the other more faster songs on the album, the instrumantation, just suuuper chill and smooth lol a very "magical" arrangement I don't even know how to explain it like you're in an enchanted forest or something, doesn't even make sense 😂😂

(2:25) I largely hear Michael's voice, but I also hear Paul's voice singing the low part in the same tonality as when he sings the same lyric during his solo part. I think you would probably say the issue is hmm maybe its a bit to slow for taste. And that Paul was not blending as well perhaps. ( Its definitely one of my favorites ) But, The demo without paul is much better it has different chords and is very balanced. But, Michael and pual did collaborate on two other songs one being Say, Say,Say ( which is better than this collab I would say) that one is more pop/ electric really great. And the Man!

You misunderstand. Of course he was famous and successful. But his Grammy for Off the Wall was awarded for R&B. It was Thriller that got R&B, Rock and Pop accolades... making it his "crossover" album. Having McCartney, Slash and Eddie Van Halen was all a part of that.

You can't have an opinion on The Beatles and Paul's solo stuff until you have heard ALL OF IT! I suggest you take the time to listen to ALL of the Beatles albums chronologically then listen to ALL of Paul's solo music. THEN and only then, can you have an opinion. Knowing only a few songs doesn't count because they're music was so diverse and changed a lot of the years. A lot of us grew up with all the great music so we knew it ALL! Paul's solo music is VERY different from when he was in The Beatles and rightfully so because why make the type of music you already did.

@SephPlays I didn't say everyone is into Beatlemania. Only that until you have heard the whole catalog, you really can't have an opinion. How many songs of theirs have you heard? How many albums have you heard? Don't listen to them via reactions. It makes a big difference just listening to them alone with no other distraction and yes KZbin reactions are a distraction because you know you have an audience watching.

The Beatles musicianship was very good and ahead of their time on each and every album. I like The Beatles but I really like Paul's and George's solo material. It was so good.

I've listened to their first 2 albums in full and then a sprinkling of their most popular songs after that. So i don't know *Every* song, maybe only about 90% of them. John was my favourite out of them and i loved his solo stuff. the beatles were just not my cuppa tea 🤷
