@Diane391 if one looks carefully at Emirs expressions, and the places where Emir pensive, then it is clear that everything Emir lives has Feriha’s memory on it. For example 1:09:00 Emir is starting a new nightclub setting it up from scratch. The reason why he refused to have Raki and fish with Koray is because he wanted to be alone in the nightclub. Why? And why with a bottle of wine? For me the answer lies in what Koray told Pinar immediately before this scene. For” old love, old love that never grows old “. Given Emir’s history with Feriha, it is impossible for him not to be sad about the circumstances that drove him to set up a nightclub for an employer. He was disinherited by his father at the critical moment when he needed to support himself and his wife. The path through which his life and his marriage had to be lived as a result of his father’s choice, and his( Emir’s) response to his fathers choice is surely at the top of his mind. Feriha was integral to Emir’s life at the time. And judging by Emir’s actions, in my opinion, it still is. It is impossible for Emir to have forgotten Feriha whom he loved so much, in 3 months, when he is sitting in the middle of a nightclub that he is setting up. He talks to Feriha, telling her that he will make a success of it, and then he does a toast, showing the wine heavenwards.

Anna Persaud, writer gave Emir only pain and headache from the begining, it was to painfull to see his father killing himself infront his eyes. In Latin America this series was over at the wedding, right before Halil shoot Feriha. Back then i heard the rumors of feriha dying. Like 8 years later i thought it will be fun to watch old good series from before and picked Feriha right after finishing Magnificent Century_ Suleyman. OMG WHAT A MISTAKE. It should have been over at the wedding. I dont know who said to continue this aftrer the wedding. They should have ended it there. Ive trying to finish "The way of Emir" for 2 weeks, is so painful, i get so bored, and angry at whoever made this horrible mistake. What a disaster. From the Best to the Worst.

My goodness. They tell me that this kid was in his early 20’s and had no prior acting experience. From the teenage school playground Romeo to the inconsolable grieving widower, to the forgiving son in law, to the determined brother in law, the forgiving son, to this charade wit Gunesh to take revenge, his acting is on point consistently. The scenes with Gunesh is perhaps the most difficult. They are also done with minimal conversation. Emir never spoke much, and the closest he comes to a lie, is to utter ambiguity. But Emir’s face and body language in these scenes are what tells the audience who pay closer attention to these that Gunesh does (remember we know Emir for much longer than Gunesh does), that they need not fear. This man’s loyalty is to his wife. Feriha. To his birth family, To his family by marriage. Just as Feriha would have wanted. How does a 20 odd year old youngster get his face and body do something that contradicts the truth of his emotions? And we are talking about the Emir we know as kind, truthful, generous etc.

I’ve never seen a worse ending of a series than this one, I swear. I’m extremely mad. Regardless of what happened to Hazal Kaya and why did she leave the series, there is one thing my mind can’t bare and it’s the fact that the series director really believed himself enough to think that this 3rd season can exist. NO, it CAN’T, it CANNOT exist. So you call a series “Adını Feriha Koydum” where Feriha is the main character, she and her mother are on the intro of every single episode and on the cover of this series, every viewer is shacking of what will happen between Emir and Feriha through all of their ups and downs, their relationship was the whole point of the series and then BOOM - they killed Feriha and so now I’m watching 3rd season with the intro of Feriha and Zehra but they’re both dead (sure, why not). Disgusting. No wonder that the ratings of the series after 2nd season have dropped down so much that after only 13 episodes in 3rd season the last episode is just a normal episode and everything just got cancelled and ended. And that’s actually sad that it was left unfinished, because this was a beautiful Turkish drama, but the end should have been different. When Hazal said that she was leaving the show the director should have known for good that this is the end of Adini Feriha Koydum series and there should have been a happy end. The last episode was 67, the other one is bullsh*t.

Agree completely I loved the first three episodes of this season and went through Emirs pain over the loss of Feriha, but I would have preferred to see him get his wish to join her through a heroic act, than to go on this way. Not interested in him with another woman! Sorry they stuffed it up. One of the best series I’ve watched and Cagatay is a chameleon brilliant actor
