7:06 This is Emir’s “ This is NOT me” moment. His biggest mistake of his life was when he slapped Feriha . He regretted the slap immediately, and that regret made no difference to Feriha. Yet, Emir wasn’t defeated in himself, by himself. He still recognised himself as Emir. The Emir who can make mistakes, but is still worthy of being Emir. Now this mistake with Gunesh, is one which he regrets much more. This vile action was planned and executed over 10 days (as opposed to an impulsive unthinking response to a jealous thought that triggered the slap) Emir cannot see himself as a person who can do such a thing, and then just move on. He cannot do that. That is not the Emir he is, or the Emir that he wants to be. So he needs to persuade Gunesh to accept his apology. Emir is also reflecting on how he treated Feriha when he discovered that she was Mehmet’s sister. Emir is facing himself, and he is saying” This is NOT Me”. In addition, on Feriha’s birthday Emir followed Feriha to the bus and then walked with her to talk to her. In that conversation, Feriha told Emir, that he is not interested in how she feels, but more interested in what he put her through makes him feel. His regret is not out of concern for her feelings, but rather for the way that his actions makes him feel. SomEmir wasn’t lying when he said that he didn’t care about what Gunesh feels. What he later realised is that he needs her forgiveness for him to forgive himself.

Emir sees the similarity of Feriha from Gunes that's why he fall in love with Gunes but deep inside in his heart he still wishing she is Feriha that he fall in love with and marry. I was hoping for the happy ending for Feriha and Emir for the reason that they both went through all so much hardship, struggles and challenges of their love life relationship. I feel sorry for Feriha for not being given a chance to be happy with the man she fall in love with. At the beginning, I understand why Feriha acted the way she was but when the Episode progresses towards the end of Ferihas episode I thought she's too much to handle with BUT honestly, I was still hoping for the happy ending for Emir and Feriha....But instead I saw the same thing "A DEPRESSING ENDING" The entire Episode was depressing. Honestly, I feel sorry for the both of them "Emir and Feriha" They deserved to be happy at the end!

The writers and directors and whoever else was involved behind the scenes should have gauged the mood of the audience. And Emir lived up to his playboy image as a womanizer until he met Feriha at the University and was hooked on her till she died. Gunes maybe reminded him of Feriha. Initially it was easy for him to get Gunes as it was part of his revenge plan and he succeeded. But the tables were turned on him by Gunes and he relentlessly pursued her now. IMO, both Gunes and Emir fall helplessly in love with each other but yet to made their confession of love to each other. But in the end everything got screwed up with the series abruptly terminated. This is a blessing in disguise because we will never know the truth but we can only make our own conclusions. I am feeling relieved that this season 3 of the series is cut short /over because I am really stressed out seeing Emir in earnest pursuit of Gunes to the point of stalking her in his obsession. I hope Emir will come to his senses soon because it is morally not right of him to get attached to the sister of a man who is responsible for his father's death because there is already bad blood between them.😢

I think that Emir isn’t developing feelings of love for Gunesh. I think that he needs Gunesh to know who he is. The Emir who doesn’t lie. The Emir who takes his responsibilities seriously. For Emir, Gunesh’s well being became his responsibility the moment he took from her what he didn’t deserve. Just as Koray accepted responsibility for Gulsum’s wellbeing after he took from the drunken Gulsum. Why would Emir go to such lengths to make Gunesh know the side of him who hates lies? Because he wants Gunesh to believe him when he says he regrets what he did to her. He wants Gunesh to accept his apology. He will go to lengths to get Gunesh’s forgiveness. Why? Not because he loves Gunesh, but because Emir is a decent human being who during incredibly stressful situations, acts irrationally. He acted irrationally when he found out about Feriha’s lies, and also when Ece was taken by Yavuz’s helicopter. On both previous occasions his irrational actions cause severe damage to his relationship with Feriha. Feriha is dead now, and Emir promised her grave that he will join her. Feriha was a good person. What Emir did through his 10 days of lies to Gunesh is seriously evil, and Emir has taken the conversation with Riza (in Emir’s scruffy flat) to heart. Emir is taking steps to repair his relationship with his family. He repaired his relationship with Riza and Mehmet, and is trying to explain to Omar that Omar is his brother in law. All this is preparation for the afterlife because Emir expects that Yavuz will kill him once Yavuz finds out what he did to Gunesh. Without Gunesh’s forgiveness on this earth, Emir will have to gain her forgiveness after death before he can join Feriha in paradise. So , for Emir, it is effort well spent to get Gunesh to know who he really is, and once she knows that he hates lies, she will hopefully accept his apology. This is my theory.
