I think her husband were 6months confined in hospital due to his lung disease, in Vietnam if your disease is under treatment and supervised by doctors and hospital care the family would pay weekly, monthly for the patients bills until he/she will be discharge, the hospital took care of the patients medication so the family can seek money to support the patients billing after all if it's all well then it's OK for them to discharge...
