It's an interesting conundrum and the actors do well. But yeah, in this case timing is key. The best thing about this is that they don't drag it out unnecessarily.

I've said it many times, more is not always better. Sometimes it gets too boring with those long drawn out family or busines brawls, or horrific schemers that half way through the drama I stop watching.

算是Happy Ending。還不錯看的影片。女主角最後選擇孩子的爸爸，未來才算是比較幸福的。畢竟男二拋棄過女主角，且女主角又不受婆婆待見，有了第二個孩子後，依照一般習性，老大受到的隱形傷害，只有孩子能體會。男二在結婚登記前聽到媽媽給女主角謾罵的電話，即時懸崖勒馬，把女主角讓給男主角，算是把理智線給拉了回家，天涯何處無芳草呢？為了個女孩背了個不孝的罪名，還和發小同搶一個女孩而破壞了情誼，怎麼說都是不受祝福的婚姻關係。

This is one of the more realistic interpretations of this plot line. Both men have realistic reactions to the situation and the FL is justified in looking for someone better. I just wish they'd left the ending open instead of rushing into the marriage. The FL deserved more time to decide what she wants.

He literally r@paed her and made her pregnant which broke up her relationship with Second ML and she had to go abroad to live. Sure she was drugged but... that's why she couldn't bring herself to be with him

The story is quite new for me because it is different from other short dramas... The plot is straight forward.. and for the first time i feel bad for 2nd ML😢 for me this drama is logic😂😂😂

我的看法略有不同，男一當時被設計了，對女主也確實造成傷害，但他完全沒有始亂終棄，一路守護到底，所以故事的結局也很能讓人接受。

First of, I disliked the FL’s acting it was so emotionless, I didn’t feel nothing from her too stiff. I guess this is why she doesn’t get roles. The 2FL also had some bad scenes but in others she tried cause she was able to irritate me😂 I guess that means she got her role right. Never seen ML before but It was ok, don’t have much to say about him. I’ve seen 2ML before but he’s always a villain unlike here. One thing I like is that the script isn’t glorifying rape as love at first sight like other dramas. She hated ML for good reason, he raped her whether it was unintentional, falling in love with her rapist would’ve been borderline crazy (even though she still married him at the end🤦🏽‍♀️) But ML was very apologetic and explained the situation and that he had fallen in love with her even before knowing that she was his victim. I still would’ve preferred if they continued with the plot of …I forgive you but I can’t be with you and of course you can continue to be in your son’s life just like the ML said to the son. 2ML decides to be “protective” by saving FL from his mom who plans to torture her and kidnap her son if she marries her son and I can understand that cause he’s apologetic towards FL for what she went through and just wants her to live a peaceful life which he believes at this point he can’t give her cause of his mom. Overall, I skipped a lot cause it had some bad acting scenes like I said earlier. No chemistry between leads in anyway, not even as enemies🙄

@@sumreayjoseph6942 the one who made those call was actually 2nd ML's own mother itself... Telling him that she would still pestered FL and her son right after 2nd ML got married to her. That's why he asked FL which one would she saved first when they are in danger, 2nd ML or her own son, and FL chose her son instead of him.

I actually feel sorry for the ML here... He really is as much a victim at the beginning as the FL was, especially since he then hooked up with the wrong girl. If he'd found the FL earlier, he could have protected her from some of the fallout and provided financial support. I don't blame the FL for being emotionally cold towards him, but it's sad.

I have revised my way of thinking. Before I only watch dramas 2 hrs or longer because I wanted the plot to develop as I felt the 1 hr 15 mins or 1 hr 45 mins were too short. NO MORE, I'm happy to watch them because the cut out the BS, like spending 10 mins of people criticizing, rubbishing, trash talking, bullying the FL etc The plot is tightened up and things move quickly because they only have a limited time

It's pretty obvious that the FL is only marrying from expediency. I found her reaction to the ML at the end rather jarring, especially in the context of her behavior up to that point... I fully expect that 15 years from now she will divorce him, no matter how nice he has been. In her mind he will always be the one who forced her and destroyed her life. If she has another baby with him I'd be shocked, and as soon as the son is finished high school she'll be gone.

@@cmaven4762 I think it was poor editing... There were a couple scenes that obviously cut out some dialogue. Needed some more time to develop feelings between them but it was a rushed ending, and they made her too happy. Felt a little off.

The ending was rushed and too pushy. FL was about to marry SML and then in seconds he just gives her up? She then picks another man and marries him? It would be better if SML's mother really kidnapped the kid, ML would save him again and then FL and SML would break up. The rest of the drama was written well, no dragging and quite realistic. I specially like how SML exposed his own mother as she was bullying FL... but the last scenes... ye, they could give us few more sweet minutes to show how ML and FL got closer, she would finally forgive him and they had a big wedding... that would be perfect ending. I like the cast, all are good actors and they made this story worth watching.

I liked this mostly. First time where they actually call out the guy for rape (he was drugged, but still) and showed that the FL was traumatized. Didn't like the writing making the child saying that he wanted to FL to be with his father, there were better ways to show it. And the ending was rushed and somewhat odd... I think they edited some of it out. Needed more time to develop her feelings/forgiveness. She's rightfully angry and not forgiving him, then within a few minutes of the end, it's all smiles, sweetness, holding hands and walking into the marriage office. . Felt a little weird. It was good to finally see something a little more realistic though.

I have to say that this is the most sane Chinese drama that I’ve watched in a while even though we had the crazy manipulative girl who was trying to take advantage of the situation that was sorted out pretty quickly, and we could move on with the main points of the drama, which is honestly so underrated as a plot strategy. The way she grabbed the whole glass when she could have taken his hair 😂😂😂. I respect how the ML was a man and told his bestie that he was the child’s father and let him know that he was going to chase her without any scheme-y underground trickery. I know she doesn’t love the ML, but she married him in the end and I love how real she aware of her motions in terms of it was rape. And everybody acknowledge that, sometimes in these versions where you sleep with somebody accidentally and then fall in love with the rapist it’s almost as if everybody has a shared delusion that was occurred was not rape and I never get that. I love how the 2ML quit once he realized that his mom was not OK remotely with their relationship, and acknowledged that she had a better/safer choice in the ML. He was assured that somebody was going to love her as much as he loved her take care of her and the child both in terms of financial, emotional, and Friendship probably because they’ve been friends for so long so he knows his character well. While this was pretty short, I actually really enjoyed this.

Ну вот не знаю,но мне фильм не понравился,ну что это такое-опять наркотики,опять героиня переспала неизвестно с кем,уехала заграницу,родила и вернулась домой.Разве не может быть другого начала? Кто-нибудь ,посоветуйте героине прежде чем сниматься надо вымыть голову и сделать стрижку.Ну прям как бомжиха какая-то,настолько неприятно смотреть!Не успела героиня вернуться домой,бросила ребёнка и поскакала в клуб ,это настолько плохо характеризует её,как мать.А главный герой симпатичен внешне

It’s a good story actually but too bad they chose such a bad actress to be the FL. If only they got a better actress, a slightly younger and cuter kid, plus make the ending better this drama would be great.
