I bought the black largest one, but for filming I do cover it in either my silicone mat or black cutting mat because of reflection not just for filming, but because I get migraines from too much light. I love mine for working with alcohol inks because of the easy clean up!

The white board looks good. I could see the card fine, it would be even better while making something. I have the Tim holtz travel mat. When I move and get an actual craft room not just a corner. I’ll be buying a glass studio one. Great detail review!

I have had a black GlassboardStudio mat for several years. I love it! I bought it specifically to protect my craft table which is a 100 year old family heirloom. I actually layer it over my original cutting mat surface which didn’t provide enough protection when I heat emboss. It is very reflective and not good for filming or photos which is not an issue for me personally. I like the clean look of your white mat. Colors look very good on it. The Glassboard is one of those “spendy” products I definitely feel is worth the investment. I would love one of their new decorative design ones. 😂

Yes, I agree 100% it was too spendy for me when I started to get into sharing videos but now seeing everything I've spent to achieve what I need, it would have been more cost effective to just start with the Glassboard. 😂 But it's hard to know what all you'll need when you're starting. I'm just glad I have one now.... And if I can justify getting a pretty one, I would totally get another. 😂

@@LVHandcrafted That is my story with the Misti. I now have 2 stamping platforms because I didn’t understand in the beginning what a good value it would be. Maybe there’s a video idea for you. Spendy items for beginners that are totally worth it & could save you $ in the long run. 😂

My th is great but it's super reflective

Yeah, I think it's the color. The black side is more reflective than the white, right? I have the travel version and never really use it for that reason

I would like one, but I have the tim holtz one so it seems kinda redundant. How's the reflection for filming
@LVHandcrafted6 ай бұрын
I actually have the Tim Holtz travel size but I think it's harder to get lighting just right. In terms of reflection...I can see my camera being reflected on the glass in this video because I'm not making anything. But normally there would be a card there in a regular tutorial. Or did you mean something else by reflection?
