I was there too. Very young, listening to Mr Mosaingeon talking about the programs (on Bach) which had had such profound influence on my life. I even got a few words with him before his lecture. He was very kind and sympathetic to why Goulds music had captivated me. It was well before the internet cult of Gould that tries to elevate him to a saint had started, even if you could feel it coming already in -99.
