Glock 44 is an excellent “tactical modern” style .22lr pistol. Glock hit it out of the park finally making Glock 19 comparison handgun in .22 while keeping moving parts actual steel that components are NOT ALUMINUM or cheap pot metal, which all modern tactical .22lr modern handguns fail at. It runs well with any .22lr rounds if you learn how to make sure the magazine is stacked correctly. If a inexperienced user is having problems, it’s generally due to rounds not being placed into magazine stack in the correct fashion. Kids love the gun and so do inexperienced shooters in general, very nice avenue to get folks into making their first fun purchase. Then you get a Glock 19 simulator tool via throwing in a mix of good condition ammunition and poorly treated/stored rounds to learn excellent weapon handling/clearing skills to get a Glock handgun back into the fight with confidence!

Is this a new generation, because the original would never shoot reliably? You had to shoot about 2000 rounds before it started to. This gun basically made the TX22 famous.

I do not know a single person that has one that had that experience. After about 200rds of high velocity ammo it was fine. I still shoot mine all of the time. I have seen a lot of people online that don't own one and have never shot one say this though.

@@gordo608here on YT look up “Glock 44 issues”. Most of the videos are from when it was released. This is why i was curious if this was a new version. I hope Glock has fixed these issues in the newer ones because YT was flooded with videos of stove pipes and bullets not loading or going in to action.

Bought mine in 2021. I’ve got over 7500 rounds through it. After the first 500 it’s been flawless.
