The miner in the beginning was there because, in the event of a toxic gas leak, a bird would die first, giving him an early warning to get the FUCK out (he must be from the 1920’s or something when there were no reusable gas detection devices)

I’m pretty sure I haven’t had a successful floor run without geologist at some point. It got me to floor 16 so far and any other run I try with other synergy basically fails if I’m not doing gem synergy
