The one thing I will say K-dramas and this drama in particular. Koreans are big about connections. They love making connections with seemingly insignificant things and people which is the reason why their dramas are so good. Pay attention to everything. 😊. If the camera lingers on something or someone a minute too long there’s a reason for that.

Because generally many Asians believe in 'karma'.. Our actions lead to reactions. Small things that may seem coincidental actually come from events we have never noticed before. It doesn't have to be deep, for example, today my mom gives the immigrant handy man some water and bread, tomorrow he pushes our sandals left out, out of the rain.

Kang Hyeon-nam is the fucking GOAT. I love her so much. She's such a strong and loving mother, wanting to protect her daughter but also she's so hilarious and so much fun despite being abused by her husband. She's also Batman low-key lmao.

After The Glory, I recommend Reborn Rich. Its also a revenge tale. Flower of Evil is another good and dark show.

Remember when we used to watch amazing soap operas with these epic revenge stories...that's what this show felt like. A perfect story. You can almost understand each character and what made them into exactly who they were in high school and furthermore into who they are as adults. I think that's a great part of why I loved this. I wish I knew about Myeong-o's family and background plus what Sa-ra's damage is. You understand Hye-jeong (Stewardess)...she's always been just on the edge of the group, never fully a part of the group. Just a tool. I don't understand why Jae-jun and horrific woman never just married each other. But would you want to be married to someone you know is a snake. I really hate her. I don't like her name LOL. You know, I only want bad things for that person.
