Yes! I love that idea! My personal interpretation of Fugo’s suit (before the reveal of his stand) is that it represents his formal polite front that he puts up either naturally and represents his past. The holes in the suit represent his “gaps” in that front. Always present are the gaps, which is his anger which come and go (like the pattern).

Hypothetically, Fugo means fugue in spanish AND probably in italian, and if we divide Fugo into syllables, the syllable Fu is translated as "It was" in Italian. I always felt so frustrated that Fugo didn't receive as much backstory in the original VA manga as the other characters. Seems like all I was told about him was "he was a gifted student... then he fucked his entire life up because he has a shit personality" and that was pretty much it. And it was frustrating given how his Stand was supposed to be a crude representation of his personality and that little bit of information about his past just wasn't enough. I didn't know Araki expanded on his backstory so much.
