btw, the korean equivalent of the Oscars (the Baeksang Awards) was on yesterday, and The Glory took home 3 awards!!! Song Hyekyo (Moon Dongeun) got Best Actress, Lim Jiyeon (Park Yeonjin) got Best Supporting Actress, and overall The Glory won Best Drama truly a masterpiece

The theory is that Moon arranged for Ye Sol to be in the room to see Jae Jun's craziness so she'd be turned off by him, thus one move towards helping Do Yeung keep his daughter, should it ever happen that the two men should tussle legally over the daughter. She had planned WAY ahead. This incident (with the paedo teacher) also showed how skilled Moon was at planning the game - she was able to react quickly to sudden moves and counter them, like with how Yeong Jin found Ms Kang's husband's photo and this incident, without jeapordising her main plan, just like in actual Go, when the opponent makes sudden and unlikely moves.

As for the case with Sa-Ra, she and her family have to keep up appearances. Most of the rich patrons who buy her artworks also attend her family’s church. That money funds her lifestyle (especially her drugs). Publicly exposing her as a junkie/hypocrite was the best way to ruin her and her family. If a child of a head pastor of a mega church is found out to be a junkie in South Korea, that church's reputation if forever ruined and will most likely be closed down for good. It will also cause people to dig even deeper into the church to see what other skeletons it has in its closet. In the upcoming episodes you will see.

To explain that whole exchange between Dong-Eun and her mom in the apartment: Past education scandals in Korea involved corrupt teachers soliciting bribes from the parents of students. But they weren't voluntary bribes gifted by hypercompetitive soccer moms. Instead, it's a quiet extortion from the teacher, basically saying "no gifts = your child gets treated like shit by me = they won't get into prestigious schools." Teachers back in the old days in South Korea had a lot of power. In Dong Eun's case, Yeon Jin paid off Dong Eun's mom to pretend she was collecting bribes on behalf of Dong Eun. Of course Dong Eun had no idea this was going on, but it didn't matter. All the moms thought Dong Eun was the mastermind and using her own mom to get expensive gifts from the students' moms. Even though Dong Eun was innocent she still had to resign in disgrace because her alcoholic mom was still guilty and no one would believe her if she said the alcoholic mom was doing all this behind her back.

She set the possibility of him getting murdered in motion by suggesting he bribe the SH's murderer then she finally gave him the name of the person. Remember his tattoo and how fixated she was on the meaning of it. And she did say that all he had was his life to lose. She couldn't for sure know YJ would kill him but she set the trap and hoped. The MO of her revenge has always been like the GO game.

Glory Glory man utd?, don't say that it makes me and most others go full partizan. Absolute dog team lol. As for the episode, the peado and jae jun getting smashed up was cathartic, and I agree moons mom deserves what is coming.
