Lee Remick wasn't interesting enough for me to write a song over her, but in my Left pocket is a flash of golden light. And there it goes again!

"She comes from Ireland she's very beautiful." actually she comes from Quincy, Massachusetts. but you go to love the way they rhyme the word Gems with Gems.

I wonder why they thought she came from Ireland. It's an odd mistake to make.

@@AshleyPomeroy 2 years prior to the song, Lee played an Irish woman in the movie Hennessy. She was credible in the role. Married to a Brit in '70, she split her time in the UK and US. Forster, the song writer, did think she was from Ireland. It wasn't as easy as googling a bio in those days.

"She's in 'The Omen' with Gregory Peck - she gets killed but what the heck." That's pretty funny - funnier than the film at least.

Interesting take - what leads you to such a conclusion? I love both bands but don't see the connection
