16 Lovers Lane is like the indie 'Rumours'; a thing of beauty crafted from the chaos of the fractured love affairs within the band.

He has altered the lyric from "to keep this warmth in" to "to keep her warmth in"
@wmperry27905 жыл бұрын
I heard it (+ recorded it) when broadcast. Kcrw was so good at the time that you could expect things this excellent, from Dierdre O'Donahues Snap or any of the other shows. I left LA just before KCRW fired Dierdre (no idea WTF) ANd then they seemed to really want to take on the mantle of " Influential Player in LA's Media Industry" A responsible Indie hub and conduit of nw and valuable content. Rather than , y'know, a cool radio station. Thats not a position with Stature. Didnt Make it a shit station though, it just introduced the unusual career path of Proffesional Hipster. WHich is a bit nausea inducing. But that may be just me -= i get a little nauseous if a look too long at any part of social ordering

As someone who has never warmed to 16 Lovers Lane (I don't see why it's so admired - it horribly underuses the band's most distinctive assets, Lindy and Amanda), I much prefer this version.
@vicktorianadolny23469 жыл бұрын
Why do you suppose he changes the lyric from "about this storm inside us" to "inside of me"?
@The2blonde6 жыл бұрын
The 16LL album version has the same lyric but he kind of slurs it to be inside o' me and you hardly hear the o.
