The Goat Path (Lancaster PA)

I remember the construction activity in the area. The new highway was to replace the current route 23 but somehow the government ran out of project funds. Imagine that, millions spent to accomplish absolutely nothing.

I live 5-min away from the Goat Path… cross over it quite often. There’s another abandoned section on the eastern end of what would have been Rt. 23 near King of Prussia.

They're taking over the US, unfortunately. These "mini" traffic circles are bad enuf to negotiate in a tractor trailer when they're SINGLE lane; but many have double lanes and are absolute nightmares! (folks: be patient; don't pass a big rig in a circle, please!!). Oversize loads have had 2b re-routed dozens of miles because of newly installed circles too. I digress - Great video; had always wondered about those overpasses. Figured it was typical Pa. "chronic (tax dollar) wasting disease"!😅
