The Springboks all get paid the same salary. It's about honour and the privilege to play for one's country. Players make money playing for clubs, mostly overseas like Japan, UK, Ireland, France and Italy. Oh ja, AND local South African Clubs... Stormers, Bulls, Sharks, Lions, etc...

People have their own op about who the goat is and of course it can't just be one player because of different positions and so on but for me man this guy is genuinely the best player I got to witness play this beautiful game, he's strong, fast, agile, smart defencesivly and will destroy you on the attack, he's literally and all rounder and at the start of his career people greatly underestimated him that's why he was so late to join the springboks but when he finally got to the chance to prove him self he shook the entire world,he's won 2 world cups back to back beating new zealand to 4 world cups 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 won a lions series, a rugby championship, Currie Cup, multiple french titles and a bronze medal at the Olympics which just further solidifies him being my Goat 🐐 cause he's not just a great player but he also got the trophies to back him up

He should have been playing for the Springboks way back already, but we had a bunch of useless coaches that was obsessed with size. Now we have a coach that that is giving the smaller guys a chance, and guys like Kolbe, Kurt-Lee Arendse and Kwagga Smith has proven that they belong in the best rugby team in the world.

The "helmet" is a called a scrum cap. It mainly protects the ears from getting cauliflower ears. Doesn't really offer much protection for the head as its just a thin sponge.

The Springboks are the South African National Rugby team, it's not a club rugby team. There were also videos of him playing for the Blitzbokke which is South Africas 7s Rugby Team (7 People Per side for a quicker game). The club teams you saw him play in Blue & White Stripes were the DHL Stormers, but there were also videos of him playing in France for Toulouse in the Red. The Number 4 you're looking for is called Eben Etzebeth by the way.

The red team is Le Stade Toulousain, the club from the city of Toulouse in the south west of France. I'm from there. We won the european Champions cup (most prestigious competition for clubs in Europe, including the best South african clubs since 2022) for the 6th time very recently, which is the record. We are considered as the best club in the northern hemisphere. Cheslin Kolbe played for us from 2017 to 2021. He won the Top14 2 times (our national championship) + the champions cup in 2021. He was a major actor of these victories. An absolute alien!.Top14 is considered as the best championship in the world. We won it 22 times, which is the record too. The latest one was last season . A breathtaking finals vs La Rochelle.

1. That's not a helmet, it's a scrum-cap designed for protecting your ears from being ripped off more than it is made from protecting you from head contact because the padding isn't that thick. 2. The Springboks are the South Arican National Team, just like the American National team are nicknamed The Eagles. Lomu was a phenom. He changed the way people looked at backline players. However, I don't think he would stand out that much in today's game. Back then, he was by far the biggest guy in the backline and could just run over everyone. Now these huge backline monsters are everywhere. Anyway, as a Springbok supporter I can tell you that he never gave us the type of nightmares, we got from wings like Joe Rokocoko, Jeff Wilson or Doug Howlett. Those bastards broke our hearts many times in the final minutes of the game.
