Thanks for sharing about your narcolepsy. I have sickle cell anemia so energy doesn’t flow across my red blood cells properly so I get fatigued very easily so I’m in the same boat as you somewhat so I can understand being that tired and it can lead to a lack of motivation, which makes you even more amazing that you’re able to consistently put out content compared to others that don’t even have those issues that shows your character/determination. Sonic musics are good, and so is Marvel vs Capcom.. but Guilty Gear, my god Guilty Gear. As Bill Clinton once said: Kill your friends, guilt free. And as a Yu-Gi-Oh! player, the musics in those games goes insanely hard and those games have no rights to own them - we can argue about Duel Links for a full hour, but Master Duel for me takes the entire bakery, there's arguably some of the best OSTs ever made for a Free To Play game and Card Games in general, ever!

I think music should be aiming for harmony, perfection and meaning and there's very rare times where it can have all three, if it has just harmony or vibe then most people would be pleased which by my records doesn't make it good music if it has lyrics and that's an example for reggeaton or trap music those are trash just terrible but people like it because it's simple and it makes them feel good (ha, peasants), perfection for the complexity of instrumentals and music knowledge and how to use them instead of just making a beat and harmony doesn't need perfection but perfection will always achieve harmony, lastly for meaning it's the lyrics which is self explanatory. I don't like songs with just harmony, that is trash and easily replicated by most industries to sell kpop and other kinds of genres, i always look for all three points but 2 out of 3 makes it good enough because i have some guilty pleasures as well like Write this Down by Biggie, the instrumental is so good but the lyrics makes me wanna hide in shame

Yeah, the music for the Sonic the Hedgehog games are usually amazing. It’s unfortunate that the games are consistently inconsistent in quality. Open Your Heart from Sonic Adventure, Live & Learn from Sonic Adventure 2, Never Turn Back from Shadow the Hedgehog, In His World from the dreaded 2006 game, most of the entire soundtrack of Sonic Colors and Generations various remixes were all great.
