We are a small, 100% family owned and operated farm, located in Salem, CT. Here, you will find our diverse herd of dairy goats play, eat, sleep and cause mischief 24/7/365… You can even watch them give birth LIVE in the main barn aka Cassie’s Castle and watch the babies grow up! Watch the humans, Liz & Aaron, and their 4 children and many friends/visitors, stop in the barn to do chores, love all over the goats, feed treats and just hang out! Things get wacky around here so watch at your own risk and be ready to fall in love, cry & laugh right alongside the family.

You are always so busy! How amazing that Tyler has 4 jobs at his age as around here there are not many for a 15 year old. Good for him! Keep saying you need a raffle to raise money for Olivia! I told Liz i would help and even contribute to the "raffle basket". Try not to overheat!

I wonder if Zinc helps goats the same way it does humans. An extra vitamin to ward off infections. So proud of all your kids! They may be going in different directions but they feel confident to do so because of the way you guys raised them. Thank you for being such great parents. Wish more parents were like you. My father owned a small corner grocery store in Punxsutawney Pa. We always got the best meats and seafood. So we learned to eat scallops, lobster (one of my favorite). There was a facility that had fresh meats cut every day. Fresh produce also. I helped Dad cut meats etc. Olivia I love watching the Olympics Olivia. I know we will see you there one day. I tried raw oysters once 🤢 never again. Jake is doing great- that’s awesome! I think I’m considered an OG here, getting 4 yr hoof before long, and watching for abt. 5 yrs. Summer is such a busy time, thanks Aaron. 😊👍

I have never had a raw oyster. I live in the Midwest in Wisconsin. I never went to the type of restaurant that served them as I never had $$$ for that type of dining experience. "Oysters on the half shell" in some hoity toity restaurant 🤣 Back when I was a kid, my relatives had farms and yeah, farm fresh meat meant it was "processed" right there. Not the most pleasant thing to see, but ya learned where food came from. 0My Uncle and neighbors would all get together and help each other process the meat for their farms(families). Everyone had chickens. For eggs and meat. Large vegetable gardens too. We had a large garden in our back yard. So did many of my neighbors back then. My mom canned stuff too. Something about fresh picked ya just cant beat. We also had a butcher shop in our nearby shopping center "strip mall". It was so different back then in the 1950s we did have an A&P and a Krogers. They really need to show kids that tradesmen are also important besides college degrees. We still need the proverbial butcher, baker and the candlestick maker. Glad Tyler is able to get the experience. It will be invaluable for him down the road some day . Aaron.... maybe you should try talking to the goats in Portuguese 😛😁

My husband used to cut meat at a butcher himself. His 1st job and delivery to stores. 19 60 -70ish times. When you picked out your meat and wrapped in brown paper. I never have to shop for meats he knows what to look for. Even asking for them to make cut if available in stores. They will do it if you ask. Good deal Tyler. Congrat to Jake 👨‍🎓good luck on driver licence. Quinn enjoy your summer keep up on the drums. Olivia has the drive & inspiration. I see her goung places. Oysters, yuck. Yes have tried 2 x, no thanks :) Love that Olivia enjoys her gymnastic. Good for Tyler, gaining new experiences. Yeah for saving $$ on pig feed. Water trough outside seems higher up, that is why they like it. Thanks for sharing your time with us. Always enjoyable. 💜❤

Oysters, one of my favorite childhood memories. My dad and I would occasionally split a tin of smoked oysters. They are the only kind of oysters I like and yes I have tried them other ways.

I make oyster stew every Christmas and have it several times during the year. Have never had oysters on the half shell. Congrats Jake. Good for Tyler and his jobs.
