Thank you for the very insightful presentation. Being Swiss I am not familiar with Indian culture and Indian economical questions. In spite of that I would argue that the so called green revolution or the so called post-colonial globalism had and indeed has positive apsects as well as dark sides. And in some way they are answers to real economical problems. For instance the question how to feed these enormous and ever growing masses of people. So one needs to to answer the question about viable alternatives. What can be said is that Maoism has never been a path to escape from poverty.
