My daughter’s Sun is in her 9th house and the Punarvasu Nakshatra. She’s only 30 years old and has just been teaching high school band for 6 years. Yet, her first year out of college, she taught the directors who hired her how to build their excellent musical program into a better marching program and for the first time in over 25 years, they made it to state. 6 years later she is the head of the marching show at a high school that had barely been keeping up with the local competition in years past. They have placed 2nd in state the first year she became head of the marching program. The school had never done that before. They placed 2nd in state again the following year and they are expected to place first this year having exceeded the other 1st place group in other musical categories now. That other school has dominated the area since it opened in 2005. It is literally being eclipsed by my daughter’s school. She has teachers all over the nation wondering what she is doing with these kids and actually coming to watch her work with them! I volunteer at her school. I’ve never seen anyone work like her with over 200 kids going over and over and over again the same marching moves and musical score and keeping them engaged and interested in what they are doing. It’s remarkable. She has such a way about her, literally circling around them on the field doing 8 patterns and ducking under trombones or tubas when they turn her way. She inspires them to keep practicing the same parts repeatedly and yet also bonds with them like they are her very own children telling them stories and making them laugh. They WANT TO WORK HARD FOR HER. THEY WANT TO KEEP GOING EVEN THOUGH it’s super hot outside and they’re exhausted. I don’t know where she learned these teaching skills. Parents ask me if she learned it from me. I humbly say, “No, I wish.” And I can tell you she certainly didn’t learn it from college. When I ask her, if she picked it up from leadership classes or what, she tells me, “I’m just doing what comes naturally and doing what I would want my own teaches to do for me when I was in band. I always felt things weren’t done as thoroughly as they needed to be done. I want perfection and you have to IMPRINT THE SHAPE WITH THE SOUND ONTO THE FIELD IN THE MIND AND MUSCLE MEMORY OF THE KIDS. The only way to do that is to keep repeating the shape and the sounds over and over and over again and to make it as fun as possible.” Now I know WHERE she get it from.

I completely confirm the part of with Punarvasu and Rohini creating together (me and my 11yo cousin use to draw together from time to time and I have to admit this, even if she is just a kid, she really inspires me; i have Punarvasu dominant placement and she has Rohini). Beautiful explanation. I have my seventh lord mars(also my darakarar) in punarvasu 4 , debilitated,retrograde, vargottama,in puskara navamsa ,with most other rules for neechabanga. My girlfriend (mars as atmakaraka) has fought with me so many times (lost my count) and she comes back after two or three months back . It has become routine. Venus conjuct Saturn in Capricorn aspecting mars . This explains why I din go for other girls (Venus with Saturn giving stability and perseverance). Its the same , again and again coming back with more mature form than the last time .

This is my seventh lord as well mars in punarvasu although it is in pada 2 and my amatyakaraka, though not darakarka that is venus for my chart, and mars is in ruling sign Ashwini nakshatra in navamsa. My ex never came back yet. I mean he kind of did but I didn't want to take him back. Still single three years later. I miss him and hope he is doing well but I couldn't trust him again. I’m a Sagittarius ascendant vargottama. Mars (atmakaraka) is in Punarvasu in Gemini 7H and it is vargottama and in the exact yoga Tara degrees. Mars (atma) and Mercury (amataya) are conjunct in the 7H Gemini, running Mercury mahadasha mars antardasha. I am only 22, I’m not married. I’ve had a few relationships or dates but nothing serious. Every single ex or person I’ve casually dated has tried came back at least once if not, multiple times. I haven’t taken anyone back though because once I move on I don’t look back or regret it, haven’t been in love too which is why I probably have no problem moving forward and not looking back. I do plan on opening up an online business, I failed the first time 2 years ago but I’m opening it back up next month fully prepared and better equipped. To whoever asked the question about 12s and 8s and time divisions and to augment Vic DiCara’s explanation at Min 16-22, I recommend (and caveat - I’m not affiliated in any way, this explanation just helped me so I’m sharing) Gemini Brett’s vid called “Sun on a Cross” or something to that effect where he talks about (what he calls “Earthstrology” but is essentially “Bhuva”) He also explained this more in a recent 8 8 Lions Gate vid he made on someone else’s channel but I think listening to a combo of GB and VdC in conjunction has helped me to integrate western and Vedic. Dear Vic, so when you were talking about the 12 adityas vs 8 adityas theory I got a thought... is it because of another theory that 1 day of devas = 12 months of humans. So the 8 adityas theory was written/spoken to devas. Whereas when vedas were transmitted to humans they explained it as 12 adityas? Because dividing each day's ruling deity period and allocating just 3 hours is too less/ too quick of a transit for the gods to accomplish any significant work. Could it be like this? Thank you for interpreting the qualities of this nakshatra!

i see it like this: you can divide the sky from one sunrise to the next or from one ascending-equinox to the next. The first way of doing it (in the Vedic fashion) gave 8 divisions. The second gave 12. Adityas are in charge of the Sun. Over the course of a day, 8 of them take turns. At the same time, over the course of a year, 12 take turns. Similar to how there are bhuktis of dashas.
