Actually he dies after exiting the first house. Did you notice the change in the amount of money he has, and the ammo of his assassins pistol? He doesn't seem to be using cheats but without explaining it clearly in the description, its as good as fooling people that he did it in the same attempt.

If u ask me the first thing to do is make all shops, hubs and wearhouses your before heading for the Compounds. That way u'll probably have more money to upgrade weapons aswell as the weekly income will be a lot better plus your weapons can get maxed easier also ur lvl is higher and u have better skills.

Maybe he did cheat. There's no ambush after bombing the first house, he probably edit it away. When the 1st house is bombed, it'll clear the mob war timer. Killing the ambushing mobs should build up another mob war timer. It should make sense if u looks at the sky. It was around sunset when he exits the house and suddenly it turns into night. So there are only 2 possibilities. Either he dies and tries again, then he edits 2 videos into one. Or he just cheats and cut away the cheating part.

Well finally after five freakin hours I exterminated dem Barzini's it was the most intense part of the game for me..but I learned a trick even if you dont escape out of the house after planting the bomb in the basement you can go back and to the same segment , kill them all ova again but just bomb the other compound now I'm the Don what a feelin now to become DON of NYC!

I believe he dies. Look at the Mob War timer, it was around 41:41 when he exit the house and suddenly it jumps to back to 45:17. The explosion sound effect was play over around that time to fool people that he did it in a single attempt. Perhaps he did cheap in his "2nd" attempt before bombing the first house? With the way he play, he probably need to cheat but we'll never know cos it wasn't shown in the video.

I play the game second day (LOL, it's 2011) and tried to destroy a compound but failed, but I think it's not so hard to destroy a compound. The only problem is there is almost no cover in the garden or whatever it is.

The upgrade can be found in the south end of Brooklyn (take help from the map). The cost to get this upgrade is 250,000. You must have level 2 to be able to get this upgrade. The name of the handgun will change to "Assasin". This upgrade is great for it's cost, it becomes automatic in a sense. This pistol has 14 bullets when loaded and 140 bullets for extra ammo. Hope this helped you out! :D

He died then came back to do the 2nd Compound. Enemies don't just re-spawn unless you really left the compound for XXX amount of feets or miles.

The Barzini's are not as hard as they seem but if you just go in there without planing where to go your dead and also you should have at least 2 great weapon upgrades like the Dillinger and The Assassins pistol or you can have the street sweeper but i would use the Dillinger i just love using the tommy gun but if you want to destroy the compound you need Molotov,dynamite and two time bombs but if you dont have any of the stuff i said your dead and you will never beat this compound im sure of it

on the 360 version, the barzini house is on a hill and way bigger. that's the stracci house in the 360 version.

i usually just run in there with a car, blow it up and take out a few enemies. Then just run in shooting anything that moves with the tommy gun

@nuno16oliveira I hope it helps. Don't hesitate to use the cheat codes, too; you'll need them. The last time I played, I took over all of Little Italy and then robbed trucks and banks until I had enough money for the Dillinger Tommy Gun upgrade. I robbed so many trucks that they started carrying three guards instead of the regular two. That gun alone made it a lot easier to take care of business. The shotgun upgrade is really good, too, but not as much so as the Dillinger.

u do this all wrong... u need to blow up the house in the back first because then u have cover wen u get out of the house... also wen u enter the building u immediately sprint and crouch behind the couch in the living room area.... i would also recommend getting a street sweeper... best gun to use by far

The Tommy gun was GARBAGE when it came to this game.. it's much better to use shotgun or pistol also level 3 shotgun is OP, 1 shots anything even at long distance

I love that compound on the x box 360 version it is quite big but it's crap on ps2 version. its too small for my liking lol.

This is the hardest compound the others were so easy I am so stuck at trying to bomb the Barzini compound it is nearly impossible..I have tried throwing dynamite, molotovs, bombs, sharp shooting strategies but I always get hit and die...damn I need a cheat code or a dilinger!
