i cannot figure out how you play the lock at 00:57. ive been trying to learn it for 6 months and i can only do it at half speed. is there any way you can help out with what you are picking and what you are hammering? excellent work!!

Thanks! To be honest, I don't think that there is a specific way to play this part. It's what suits you best. If pulling of more notes in stead of picking makes it easier, then try it out. Maybe try pulling off the 2nd and 3rd note where you play 3 notes in a row on the same string before switching strings. That might help. Then fill in the rest with pull offs where it feels natural to you

Its just my guitar plugged straight into an audio interface (Lexicon Alpha in my case back then) and processed within the DAW (Cubase) using VST plugins. You just have to search on KZbin which VST plugins are good for the sound that you want. Mostly, KZbin will find you how to get good tones. Hope this helped :)
