Smiling as I scroll through the comments seeing people saying, play this ... play that ... like it doesn't take daaaaaaayyyyyyyyssssss (weeks / months) of work. I learnt that recently when my neighbour visited and I made a throw away comment about how I was struggling with a piece. She said, I don't know music ... don't you just do it. I'm unsure how long I stared at her before some kind of words came out my mouth. But that was good insight in realising, people who don't know ... they think it is easy ... you just do it. I'm a decorator and love this phrase:. Painting is easy, until you know how. I'd liken that to music. The more you know, the more you have to learn. Not quiiiiiite the same, but same idea. Another I loved was how insulting it is to say someone is talented. Not saying there might be something special with some people .... but to be really good involves HUGE amount of practice. That hit me as it's so true. Remarkable people are exactly that because of their hours and hours and hours of practice. People are not born talented ... they work bloody hard to be as good as they are.

Well, I personally do not know nor use Notes, it makes my life easier not using these.. I can hear melody and see someone play it and I will be able to easily find out what they're doing, and after idk dozens of tries I can work on it.. But ofc if it's not something insanely hard..
