Does the carafe keep coffee at a certain temperature after brewing or does it drop temp as it sits?

Questions: A. Do the handle automatically move back to carafe after single cup is done? B. Can you use a glass instead of a insulated carafe? C. Can you use paper filters if preferred?

Hello and thanks so much in your interest in our Grind and Brew Coffee maker! If switching to a single serve mug, the switch must be moved back to carafe for the next use if this is the desired setting. We strongly recommend insulated mugs as the contents will be very hot and more likely to hold the appropriate serving amount. Use of the charcoal filter is also strongly recommended, as it filters deposits from your water. If it is not used, cleaning the coffee maker more often will likely be required.
