The golden 1/18 CMC Mercedes-Benz 600 Landaulet Pullman (W100) | Model car innovations 2022

Here the 1/18 CMC Mercedes-Benz 600 Landaulet with the tarpaulin for the convertible top.
This CMC model car in 1/18 represents the Mercedes-Benz 600, internally also known as the W100. In the 1960s and 1970s the state and representative vehicle of the Daimler-Benz company. The stylish vehicle of the absolute top class was used worldwide and was the epitome of the highest perfection, high-end technology, comfort, exclusivity and uniqueness.
The "Big Mercedes" made its debut in September 1963 at the IAA in Frankfurt. It was offered as a sedan, Pullman sedan and landaulet. Two landaulet versions were offered, one with a long and one with a short rear hood.
In the classic Pullman, two rows of seats are installed face-to-face in the rear. In the long version with six doors, a middle row of folding seats was also available. It was intended for customers traveling with staff or bodyguards.
The vehicles were powered by a V8 injection engine with a displacement of 6.3 liters and an output of 250 hp. This meant that top speeds of up to 205 km/h were reached with the 2.6-tonne sedan. The 600 was the fastest production sedan in the world at the time.
The comfort features of the vehicles included air suspension, a comprehensive hydraulic servo system, an electrically adjustable heating and ventilation system, air conditioning, hydraulically adjustable seats, hydraulic windows and also hydraulically operated sunroofs.
When designing the interior, the customer could choose between different precious wood veneers, covers in velor or the finest leather. There was also a bar in the rear with a cooling compartment, car telephone and retracted partition.
All in all, Daimler-Benz had succeeded in creating a product with this luxury car that caused a sensation internationally and became an incomparable automobile of its time.

First, this is not...'golden' but silver (or at most platinum). It looks great for the most part, except for that garish looking black plastic (or is it metal that looks like plastic?) half-roof up front. It depends on the price, but overall it's quite impressive. The Landaulet is not an easy 600 Pullman to model.

Everyone sees it differently. CMC itself describes beige/brown and some dealers say gold metallic. It definitely looks more gold than silver to me.

@@markamd1 I don't remember deleting comments. I would only if they were below the belt, offensive or totally inappropriate. As I said above, everyone sees it differently. Take a look for yourself on the internet. CMC themselves describe it as beige/brown and some dealers say gold metallic. To me it definitely looks more like gold than silver.

Ich hab jetzt raus gefunden warum das Dach beim blauen Mercedes nicht so gut runter geht. Erstens ist beim blauen Mercedes das Innendach gefüttert bei goldenen nicht und der Querbügel über dem Heckfenster ist zu steif entgegen dem goldenen Mercedes landaulet.

Ja da hast du recht, das ist mir bei dem blauen auch aufgefallen. Bei dem goldenen hat CMC ja ein nicht ganz so filigranes Konstrukt des Verdecks gebaut. Bei beiden ist es nur sehr schade, dass beide Dächer so hoch ausfallen.

Vielen Dank für dein Lob, schau dich gern auf dem Kanal um, habe schon viele tolle Modelle vorgestellt. Ich habe keinen speziellen Händler oder Shop, ich kaufe überall. Direkt bei Händlern, bei ebay und auch Privat. Einfach Augen und Ohren offen halten. Ich schaue dabei in erster Linie nach Preis und vor allem Seriösität des Verkäufers. Der billigste Preis bringt meißt nur Probleme.. Hoffe ich konnte dir weiterhelfen. :)

Das Verdeck baut in geschlossenem Zustand, im Vergleich zum Original, wesentlich zu hoch. Das wirkt sehr unharmonisch.

Was beim blauen Mercedes vielleicht hilft ist wenn man was schweres auf das geöffnet legt und es ein paar Tage drauflassen damit das Dach zusammengedrückt wird und ein bisschen Platzer wird.

Das ist mir zu riskant am Ende kann ich das Dach nicht mehr korrekt öffnen. Du kannst es ja ausprobieren und mir berichten ;)

Ist natürlich ein phantastisches Modell aber Schweine teuer. Was ich noch sagen wollte ich habe mir von KK scale den Mercedes 220 S Ponton in 1:18 gekauft da es dieses Modell bei norev nicht gibt.

Du hast natürlich Recht das CMC sehr teuer ist. Aber sie bieten aber eine Qualität und Detaillierung die ihres Gleichen sucht.zum Beispie sind die Sitze mit Stoff oder Leder (je nachdem wie das Vorbild war). Aber es ist schon sehr teuer.

I have most of the CMC models. I've been a loyal fan of them for years, but what they are doing now cured me of this company. Ok, maybe Pullman has a lot of details, but it's made tragically. It is poorly folded, badly machined sheet metal edges, scaled elements, crooked suspension, cheap plastic of the cockpit, badly fitted elements. This model is poor and they have been producing weaker and weaker models for some time.

Well the ferrari 275 gtb from cmc are good, got 3 models and all are good quality, my pullman cmc same as this model in vid looks good and I do not see any poor quality, no I am impressed by this model.
