King Midas struck a deal with Dionysus (the greek god of wine) to turn everything to gold, and he sadly turned his daughter to gold, 2. He did become cleansed by a river, and 3. he was king of Phrygia (Fridge-Ea), other than that, every single detail was completely accurate
