Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Matthew's Toons in general. While they're right that Matthew should protect from Lucifer Killingsworth, It falls flat since the toons don't generally their lesson as seen on "Diamonds" and like the Rodfellows, are highly, unlikable, cliched characters where they don't treat Matthew with respect even though he desperately wants a job. Speaking of cliched, Tanya and Timmy are also part of this since their prankster behavior had endlessly become annoying to some viewers and rooted for Lucifer to skin them alive anyway. Not just that, There are several undertones of pedophilia in this Animaniacs-esque show in which many people began to break ties with Matthew Littlemore.

The Rodfellows characters have no personality at all and constantly refer to themselves in the third person, completely destroying any investment into the show. Not only that, but it is a blatantly fetish show only meant to be erotica to the viewers who are also into them, but also guised as a childrens show for the viewers who are more innocent (if there are even any which I doubt). Cartoonmania, at the very least on its own, I can at least be invested with the characters because they aren't written in a way where they break the 4th wall all the time, have better animation, and better voice acting and pacing. Although, this does not excuse what Matthew, the creator has done. And there are scenes with fetish undertones in his show as well, just not as blatant as The Rodfellows.
