Yeah...these recent games are looking a lot like the "strength in numbers" days, fun to watch. A lot to like, between JK and Pods clearly showing they're seriously good, the return of the "real Wigs", and the energy and hustle from the young bench guys...and of course Steph and Draymond doing what they do at their accustomed great level. If they can play like this with consistency, only problem...well, maybe a couple...one, that's a lot of dependence on the young and the very young. Can they play this well in the playoffs? History says young players usually don't. Two...might be some challenges for Kerr making rotation changes when CP3 & GPII are healthy. Oh, and what to do with Klay...can he find his groove again and be something a lot closer to what he's been in the past, or has his ceiling come down to about what we've seen most games this year?

The answer is obvious Klay has to go to the bench and be playing 20 minutes a night unless he's super hot. He shouldn't be taking more than 10 shots a game and they need to focus on surrounding Steph and Dray with young athletic dudes. Things are looking good now but I think they have probably left it too late to really make any noise this season. I still think they have bad matchups against the Wolves, Lakers and Nuggets and I'm not sure they could compete with Boston if they somehow made it to the finals which I don't think is even a remote possibility. Steph has been shooting amazing but still so much fake effort on defence.
@hpaulbryant7298 ай бұрын
The team's pace, hustle, defense and chemistry are markedly improved. I fear Kerr will disrupt this improvement by (1) reinserting Chris Paul back into the rotation and (2) keeping Klay on the court while he continues to shoot 4-17 without being a forceful defender. Defense is everything. The Warriors need to play their best defensive line-ups Klay needs to follow the path of Manu Ginobli. If Klay willingly offers to come of the Bench, play 20 minutes and remain positive, he could help the Warriors win another Championship. If he broods about not being the "star player," like he was in the past, he could very well undermine Team Chemistry. I say this because it will be very difficult for the younger players to respect their elders if they are sitting on the bench while Chris Paul and Klay Thompson are unable to get the stops that generate transition offense.

I know it's better late than never but I think we would of been higher in the standings. I'm actually afraid for CP3 and GP2 to come back because I love what I see from the young guys and they need all the playing time they can get. I have no doubt that when both CP3 and GP2 comes back we won't be seeing much of Lester Quinones and Gui Santos that's if we even see them at all. These young guys are going to be needed if we make the playoffs. Lester's defense is not to far from GP2 defense and Lester is a facilitator and a better offensive player but he lacks experience.
