The Goldfinch | Donna Tartt | Book recommendation

First of all this is very lengthy novel almost 880 pages of paperback. Without good words from friends, those who read the books or reading reviews no one pick up such books and rightly so because it takes time to finish such books.
Author Donna Tartt, whose first novel, “The Secret History” published in 1992. Then second novel “The Little Friend” published after a decade in 2002. So, she took a long time to write and then her third novel “The Goldfinch” published in 2013.
I read this book with excitement, it’s engaging, heartfelt, smartly written novel. Narrative energy and power of the novel is brilliant.
I must say this is an extraordinary work by Donna Tartt. Well rounded characters, flowery language, mysteries of art, identity, love, friendship, loss and survival. Enjoy the book.
