Some graphic elements are amazing but I wish it had the EA Sports feel to it. Actual real golf announcers, moving realistic crowds (walking on paths), better and more realistic crowd reactions, and just the feel of an actual sports game. EA was the best at this. I’m still playing Rory pga tour. I can’t tolerate the last GC release unfortunately.

Custom Swing needs to be added. Also, would be great to have mini games like Putt-Putt courses- that by doing helps your putting a little.. same with a driving range. Allows you to get your swing down better and more consistent. The graphics look amazing and I’m excited ! But not sold on this yet because golf just isn’t the 18 holes.. you have to practice a ton and if they are going “realistic” needs to be added. Also, a in-depth player customization.

While Rory is a great golfer, he doesn't have the appeal to bring in sales like Tiger does. That's why they gave up on making another one.

Swing still looks robotic and unnatural, but I love the new fairway camera angle on some of these holes. I lile the look of the hud as well, looks nicer. Like others said, I hope there are different styles of play for more casual and arcade aka easier less simulation style play from the previous games.

Everybody’s golf PS4 #1 20 bucks as well and you have a cart and can fish and swim And walk each and every hole of you want too. Online multiplayer and it’s a decent fast paced challenging game.

I picked up TGC2 a couple days ago. For the first time in a golf video game I felt like I was playing golf at a local 9 hole course. I’ve never felt this before in ANY Tiger Woods games. I love golf, even though I can only afford getting out a couple times a year. But this feels like the real deal. And it is the perfect compliment to go alongside everybody’s golf

The Golf Club is a work in progress, from a few guys who were working on Tiger Woods to Tgc 2019 is a huge step in the right direction. EA sports and 2K wouldn’t put their name to HB studios if they didn’t have faith that they are going in the right direction. Yes the Tgc franchise isn’t as easy as Rory, but the driving force behind the Golf Club is the community, and HB listen to them and act on them. I’ve played every Golf game for the last 30 years or so and spent hundreds of pounds buying extra courses etc:, in Tgc there are 100,00 courses and counting free to use, admittedly 98% aren’t very good but that still leaves a huge number FREE. There are baby clubs for the Rory brigade and for the rest of us who want the best game out there as with fantastic online match play tgc2019 is the only place to be.

Wouldn't it make sense to add an animation to have the player walking towards the hole to pick the ball out of the cup after a putt rather than just awkwardly standing there? Also if this is an officially licensed PGA Tour game how about the ability to actually hit it the distance of a tour player.

Agree with comments around the game being a little lackluster. Graphics are great, but all the greens seem the same and flat as a lake. The commentary is very average as well. Think the crowds could be better [p;aced around the course. Its not like you have a huge crowd on every hole in real life. Noticed also you can win a title by being tied first? Would be much better to have play-off holes in these situations.

This games has a course creator with thousands of great courses that will be much more difficult than the ones showcased in the video. These are just some of the licensed courses that have flat greens in real life.

Great to see some video of the game. The commentary is about the same as the last two games, can always improve that but I'd rather see some crowd UI adjustments and different animations along with excitement depending on the shot. (just like real life). Also noticed you can win tourneys by tieing for the lead? Hopefully that will get changed. Hoping the online play against friends improves a lot. Didn't play last years at all because of how bad it was. That will be a make or break for me this year again. Overall the game looks like it improved from last year but it had to with a PGA license now?

Sigh, another golf game where the ball physics are just wrong. A sand wedge hit by a tour pro out of the fairway is going to have enough spin to check back, or one hop stop. Not roll out 20-30 feet.

Just add loft?? TGC2 always spins back for me. I always had more loft. Might have to club up add loft and watch that ball spin back. Especially with the wedges. Just need to know how to play the shots.

Zack White for it being a “simulation” game it’s pretty far off. IRL I don’t club up and add loft to get it to check that’s pointless. I can hit a low wedge and get it to bite IRL. If I hit a low wedge in TGC it’ll roll out 40ft

Golfers are generally very picky people...and one thing that is certain, if a golfer can’t play golf his or her style, the day is shot. I’m hoping the customization is a great as it is advertised.

Can’t wait to buy this been waiting for years for a pga licensed golf game. That being said, I feel trees and landscape seem a little well unnatural... as in zero movement in trees. Also the crowd seems a little zombie like. Stuff stuck in place. Crowd cheers only couple of people clap. Just really seems like they aren’t fully using the power of current gen systems and capabilities. Single player mode seems like it’s going to be awesome! And menu presentation and Vice as a sponsor is super cool. Like I said stoked to play just wish they would really get into the details more than not.

They should focus on improving the ball physics and the presentation (make it less bland by improving commentary and fans) and then improve the ball physics by adding far more natural spin to the wedges etc

One thing I don't miss from the Tiger Woods series is the Arsenio Hall crowd yelling "Get in the Hole" with every shot. but in this video the crow is pretty quiet and stagnate and not like a current PGA crowd at any current event. The need to up the volume, just don't make them over the top. Definitely need better commentary if this is going to carry the PGA license. But it's a start! Cheers! :)

I think it looks really good. I'm glad you offered it in 4K res, as it really helps show off how good this L.O.D. SpeedTrees can look. This is the same mo-cap animation as TGC 2, but I found the fabrics of the golfer's clothing buffeted more realistically and with greater detail. Great job with this video, you gave us some peeks at the menu I wasn't expecting to see ;-)

I am so glad that hb studios have picked up the PGA Tour license and have added the PGA Tour game/career mode to their Golf Club game. This will be a great welcomed addition. It would be even better if they have the Masters Tournament/Golf Course in the game as well. I wish hb studios would make a NBA game too and make it better and bigger than NBA 2K. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!! I can't wait to get my hands on The Golf Club 2019.

Is there a practice/driving range mode? Somewhere where we can learn the controls and get better at the game while not in a Tournament or Online situation? Also, is it like an RPG type situation where we gain stats to dole out as we improve and advance our careers? Same with equipment. I kinda like the commentary... they can't invest big bucks in a household name for commentary right now, and I think John McCarthy does a good job with it. Yes, the gallery could look more realistic, but I see a slight improvement in their animation. I just wish they weren't all wearing pastel colored clothing. There are six PGA TOUR licensed courses in the game. HB Studios has announced that more would be added later, but probably as premium DLC. I'm okay with that if the price is reasonable and the courses are faithfully rendered.

He's using the "Pro" club set, which is the equivalent of the medium difficulty level. The Master Club set presents the most difficulty.

Absolutely! I still play that game til this day. Put it on simulation and I turn my accuracy down to 25. Also I move the right stick without looking so it's harder to hit centered shots out of the rough. I dont shoot many 9/10 under rounds too often.

Also only allow myself to hit 3/4 or full shots unless hitting out of the bunker or pitching or chipping. Makes you not hit driver on every hole.

So on this game I keep hooking it right. No matter what I seem to change the same thing happens. Not only just drives, but irons even go wildly right. What in the world could I be missing? I don't understand the shot thing either. Often it seems to look great on it straight and all but still the hook. I don't understand how the backswing and downswing are affecting the shot also. Thank you so much for this game franchise HB! You're embarrassing EA Sports with the course designer feature. A few suggestions on the gameplay: remove the divot on drives, the ball looks too big in the sky, and please allow us the ability to make beaches in the course designer where the sand directly touches the water.

This commentary is a placeholder, right? It's laughably poor here. The rest of the presentation seems fine, if a bit bland. After playing last year's game, I wasn't really not a fan of how it played. It skewed heavily toward the simulation aspect, making it very difficult for new or casual players. I'll be curious to see if this has been adjusted at all.

Once people realize Tiger Woods PGA was not REAL golf...you'll understand TGC 2019. It is catered to REAL golfers. As a person who has been playing golf since I was 7. the first time I played TGC, I felt like the first time I played NBA 2K for dreamcast. like "Whoa how this is realistic."

Awesome, can't wait. Just nit picking here but some of the spectator placements are odd and also when you tee off and the ball lands or an approach shot lands on the green, the spectators are still facing the tee. Shouldn't they face the ball? But again, really lookIng forward to the release.

Needs huge improvement on announcers, improved details like spin on the green, the player going to the cup to retrieve putts, crowds clapping before the ball stops, no divots for driver, etc. The announcer is clearly a bot.....what is an 8 eye-run? What the Golf Club needs is a normal online play mode with Lobbys ect... that you can play with people who are not in your friends list! Online play like in any other sports game these days! The only game how it is today is just really bad and seems like for a game 10 or more years ago! We need online lobbys!!!!
