Always enter a bunker from the low side at the back,(never from the front as you could remove too much sand walking in and you can't replace it). Disturbing sand at the back is easier to smooth over as it's generally the lowest side and the ball can't run up against it.

@Jay Roberts, respectfully disagree. He is giving you suggested drills so you can perfect the bunker shot. The lines help you visually and then execute the shot. After you practice it enough, you won’t need to do it in a tournament or match. Hope this explains his comment and video.
