Cheers for the credit Dave took a while to get it to where I could put the video out to help people but the amount of messages I’ve had since I did it is mind blowing. Should be that adjustable out the box.

That’s a great net over your pond. Where did you get that?

Youll be suprised how quick the fish associate the noise with dinnertime. Nice video 👍🏻

Use your Fishmate P7000 and put an air stone to move the food across the pond or put in the flow into pond!

Thanks for sharing this! I find I can only use this in the height of summer when the koi are at their hungriest, any other time of the year and half of it ends up in the skimmer! I’ll give it a try, thanks again!

Hey Dave, I have the unoverpriced and unbranded feeder ( same control and motor), mine has the built in solar panel and us very good, never needs to charge, run button does a set amount, about a number 3 size feed (huge), I always feed at setting 1. I may look at the mod though, good idea.

Hi Dave. Great video mate. I use the linn profi auto feeded. Had it years. You can put as much or as little in as you want. Expensive but worth it. All the best 👍

I have a Fishmate P7000 on my pond and it works very well for me although I do like the fact the EA feeder broadcasts the food rather than dropping it. I have my Fishmate positioned to drop the food in front of a return to the pond so the food is dispersed pretty quickly and the koi don't seem to mind. Too bad that you have to modify a brand new product right out of the box. Of course the simplest solution would have been to double your pond size and triple the number of fish so no mods necessary. 🤣🤣🤣

A great honest review, thank you ... The only way to test it with your own settings is through the timer. The run button ignores your settings and fires it for 3 seconds ⏰ which does not help its reputation If you take your Fishmate food dropper and have smooth curved surface of an appropriate shape/size fastened underneath it, will the food not roll off that surface over a better area ?

Something to be aware of with the EA feeders is the flap to the control panel tends to open. I woke at 5am one morning hearing the auto feeder continuously going off. There was a slug on the run button! Thank God I heard it otherwise it would of dumped the whole hopper into the pond.

Great update I got the all pond solutions auto feeder and that was the same I couldn’t send it back so sold it on eBay for half the price I paid for it and took the loss. I’m still finding an auto feeder that’s going to work on my pond as it is a lot smaller then your pond.

Great video Dave yeah definitely some teething problems there mate being it’s a EA product and at a cost of £££ you would have thought they EA would be interested in Feedback for customers and try to make mends with the product and rectify the issue 🤷♂️ thanks for sharing mate 👍

I'd say EA should be all over this knowing how many reports online there is about it, but then I remember this is EA we are talking about!😂 Thanks for the crotch view, one for the bank👍😬

We've spoken to EA and they are not interested. They just say they don't make them! Sadly I wasn't there when my husband spoke to them, but it makes not a jot of difference, they don't make them! BUT they do sell them, and they are making money out of them, under false pretences. Your contract is with the seller not the manufacturer! I wish everyone who has ever bought one had sent them back, perhaps we wouldn't all be in the situation we are all in!

Why buy something that dont work for your needs and you already modding it ? What's the saying Buy cheap buy twice JBL all the way for me
@edenkoipond2 ай бұрын
I brought it not knowing it wouldn’t be suitable. I’d filled it with food and put a screw through base to hold it down. I should have tested it first. Trying to take it back would have put my local dealer in an awkward position as really the fault was my own. I’ve played around with it and it’s working well and I’m happy with it. Would I buy again, definitely no. Like you say, should’ve just got a JBL feeder. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
