@@angelaphsiaobut the writers laid the groundwork with all these little clues that we only picked up on after the Season 1 finale and went back and rewatched that first season with new eyes! A similar thing happened with subsequent seasons! For example, Eleanor jokes that her parents are probably being used to torture one another in the Bad Place at the end of Episode ONE of Season ONE when Chidi brings her home from Tahani’s welcome party!

My fave part which gave me a lot of insight into the ridiculous notion of heaven (SPOILER ALERT*) - when they get to heaven and everyone is a total zombie because they have spent hundreds, thousands of years being concious and in bliss. But this isnt a normal situation, it is a horror scenario. I was wracking my brain thinking how they were gonna fix it. Simply introducing the option of suicide and choosing to not exist, this made everyone truly happy! It really hit home to me that existance is not worth anything if it doesnt' end at some point... If heaven is eternal, its a prison.

Loved his character. I personally thought it was going to turn out he was God. He was upset everyone was going to the bad place but wanted them to fix it. He created Jason as the perfect way to guide them while they figured it out. Gave Eleanor someone she was better than so she could see she wasn't hopeless. Chidi couldn't make a decision so he could learn to be more impulsive. Tahani cared so much about what others thought he taught her to not care what they thought. Helped Janet evolve and love so she helped them instead of just doing what they said. And with his helping them he helped Michael want to be better too.

It's possible that the negative association with the points which caused the system to be rigged ( for example buying a tomato from a local farm, only for the negative points to come from anything bad it took to grow that tomato) didn't affect her because she was already dead, therefore she only got the positive points and avoided the bad points.

She on the other hand only had the idea and wanted to do it, and since her Sister created it based on her concept, she got all the positive points, but her Sister is probably stuck with all the negative points from creating and managing it.
