This in my opinion is what needs to happen in our churches and with our church folk. Education, actual teaching, recitation and prayer instead of preaching. What we see now in all of them regardless of denomination or race is a total disconnect between the word on Sunday ( if you can even hear it!) and our lives on Monday.

Rev. Wright preached a similar message when he visited New Creation Christian Fellowship in San Antonio, TX. I forget the year but I know I was a teen working the cameras at the time, maybe 7-8 years ago. The story about the sheep has stuck with me ever since because it’s so real. You get lost a little bit at a time.
