Sheer grateful to you Muskan Ma'am for explaining the idea of how the program works in terms of getting an assessment internship or assistance regarding placement at a law firm, preparing for the net exam, and how much students get placed is there any figure on what salary they get like range or something, in terms of in-house role and law firm. Secondly how to balance dissertation and exam prep like in case a student want to write NET, judicial clerkship exams I would be really great if you could give a descriptive answers

Dissertation is not hectic, it’s just that you have to work on it daily so that you don’t get yourself clubbed up with a lot of work at a particular time. So, if you’re working on it on a regular basis, then the balance can be maintained for sure. The assessment internships would be very difficult from the institution especially if you’re pursuing LL.M. None of us got assessment internships. Most of the people who have accepted the offers from the institution itself, the salary ranges from 25k-45k.

I think you should go for the offer. After 1-2 years you feel like you wanna join campus then you can opt for it.

Hello, When I had contacted a few LLM alumnis from Jindal they had told me that not everyone got placed in their batch but Jindal tag did help all of their cohorts get a job. They had told me that the faculties might also help getting a job. Is this true? Is getting into a law firm post masters without prior connection impossible?

There’s no doubt in Jindal having a great reputation in law. It does help. And yes, don’t expect to get placed mandatorily. The faculties can of course show you the path. And no, without connection getting into law firms is not impossible, it’s just difficult. It’s good if you have some sort of connection, other than that you have linkedin to connect. Many people do respond. It’s just that it’s a bit of hard work. Also, if you think that Jindal will place you somewhere, I’d advise you not to rely on the institution completely.

Hi Muskan, thank you for sharing this video. I was having so many doubts and I wanted to join Jindal just for their placements. I have one more doubt, I am a state university passout and I am struggling to a job even after having decent internships in my resume. Do you think Jindal tag would help me? I have some contacts in corporate field but they don't give jobs to a state university passout. Also did no one from your batch got placed at a tier -1 firm?

Hi! See if you want to move forward with professorship then Jindal is a go to place but if you’re looking for a job per se then reconsider it.

Mostly no. But you got to work hard with yourself and in academia. Also try to be as out as possible. Try to engage yourself into meaningful work or committee or any position of responsibilities. There will be lot of options. So choose according to your interests.

There’s not much to it. The process is quite simple as I have shared and later after the interview if you get selected then you’ll have to submit the required documents. And the concerned team will later tell you the necessary.

See! Anywhere you go, you’ll have to look at the learning and improving part. If after watching the video you feel like it’s worth your time and you’ll be able to learn then go for it. But apart from this, I can’t help you. You’ll have to decide on your own. Calculate and think rationally

First few days are generally chill. They get to know you, you get to know them. They’ll discuss the structure of how they’ll carry forward the particular subject. There’s nothing to be worried of. It’s all competition. Jindal does have some perks but if you’re getting into NLU then go for it. Generally, it’s for people who don’t get into NLUs but it provides with the law people go for to get in NLUs
