In terms of your progress, I would say, as I have, that you have good reason to be optimistic going into next season. I can say that if i were you, trying to kick a pro career into high gear, knowing what I know about the game and having played spurts of high level golf and now having studied the swing in depth for a decade or so. I would try to learn my swing to the nth degree, exactly how you do every iota of the motion, from foot pressure to head and neck motion, rotation, and especially how you release the club, and very importantly I now believe is how you (or anyone for that matter) set the club at the top. I would learn this in such detail that you are able to change tempo and make minor adjustments to impact with ease. I remember many years ago that Tiger was playing in the grand slam of golf and the four players did a clinic. Weir was playing so it was 2003. Tiger started showing his shot shaping abilities and his ability to hit different shots with various clubs. He took an iron (I don't remember which one) maybe a 6 or 7 and proceeded to hit it crisply and with varying trajectories going from maybe 70 yds. to 180 or so. and the other players were left open-mouthed because he had such control. This kind of thing has got to pay such huge divendends in every area of the game. Knowing what your hands do and knowing how it all fits together so well that you can easily change it is going to bring confidence in a game where it is hard to come by. That might not be welcome advice and if so, please ignore it but it is what I would do so I'm just being honest. The other things that you mentioned are definitely great ideas for improvement in their own right. In any case, best of luck for the off-season and especially for getting into high gear in 2025. Cheers.

@@thomaskeyboard definitely keying in on that during the off season. Already making some progress as to how I use the bigger muscle groups when I chip. 👍 Thanks for your support! 🙏

Never stop having fun. I find when I get to serious I get tense. Keep up the good work!

@@sassmangolf you’re absolutely right. There were times this year when I was struggling that it was becoming harder to have fun, and that doesn’t help anything. At the end of the day we have to remember why we play this game regardless of what level you are playing at. Thanks for watching and your continued support! 💪

A thought on arriving to the first tee ready to rumble. Play the first 4 holes on the range if you know the course well, as in a simulation. I started doing this for our first hole at Windmill which allowed me to be more consistent scoring wise (provided the range was open). Have a great off season Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Really really enjoyed this video. Its okay to suck. What isnt fun is having that be a thing for an extended period. Loved the golf you were playing to close the year. Even though it wasnt exactly what you're wanting from yourself, you generally got back on track after that lesson. Keep bringing us along for the offseason practice work

@@iiZAPPx thanks man. I appreciate it. You’re right, we all struggle at times, but struggling for the better part of three months when the season is only 5 months long was tough. But as you said, it was a very strong finish to the year (all things considered). I haven’t forgotten about your requests for practice vlogs. I’m working on a series of videos starting in January that will document my off-season work in detail, a few of which will feature my coach where we will get pretty technical. 👍

@jamescolindavisgolf happened to me this year as well. Can't criticize. I play off a +3 and I legit wasn't breaking 80 for 5 straight events over the span of 3 months. Talk about deflating... I ended the year strong but still that was bizarre and very mentally/emotionally taxing. Real gamers get it and I wish success on you. I also appreciate you documenting. Love tournament golf!

@ I sympathize with you my man. It can be incredibly deflating an taxing. Hard to leave that on the course sometimes and not bring it home with you. All the best to you in the new year!
