Not sure what you mean by "seen 23 million times". The original video on the DR Koncerthuset KZbin channel, has over 130 million views. First time, I saw it, it had 60 million views, and that's two or three years ago. So either you're behind in counting, or referring to something else. 🙂

@martinbynion1589 - no it is not. The overall reaction was good, but never, ever - get your own target audience distracted - like looking at your phone. It should have never happened. Never! Cut this crap out. The rest of the reaction was OK, and personally I did like it - but never dictract your target audience with stuff like that. Simply remove this part of reaction from your video. Just a simple video cut would do (just this part with a phone, the rest is OK!).

I got the record of this back in the 80s when the original sound track was released. hearing it played live makes it sound even better. I love orchestral/symphonic rock music like Night Wish and Matalics S&M album

The only american thing in the entire production are... the actors. The composer of the music is the italian Ennio Morricone. The producer, as well as the director Sergio Leone, the screenwriters and all the movie staff are italian. Filming took place in Spain and Italy. American, yes, was the setting of the plot....😁

One thing to notice: The original recording for the movie, done in the late 1960s, was done very cheaply, with a very limited orchestration. That's why Ennio Morricone used singers, and whistling, because he only had the singers, one electric guitar, a string quartet, and a few others, but no full classical orchestra. There have been numerous live performances of his music over the years -- this one here being one the the best -- done with larger orchestras, and they all sound so much better than the original, simply because there's no better way to give music a larger OOMPH than throwing many trained professional musicians at it who are able to perform together well. (And no, you cannot do it with synthesizers and computers. Humans are complex beings, they make errors, but they self-compensate, and all this complex behavior adds richness to the music. I doubt we will ever have machines which are able to emulate this.) (For anyone who wants to get this as a recording: It is available as a high quality digital recording to buy. It's under the title "The Ecstasy of Gold", which is actually just the second half of it, the first being the Main Title. I'm just mentioning this because people weren't able to find the recording.)
